I'm going Disney Presidents week 2016. Some family is joining us just for 2 of the days. Their top priority are MK and AK, So we will do those two for fast passes. But, they've never been to epcotand I'd like them to see it. If we hop to Epcot in the evening to watch illuminations and go to night EMH, what are our chances of being able to ride both/either soarin and test track during that window without terrible waits? I've never been to any EMH before so I don't really know what to expect. Thanks.

EMH nights are generally more crowded than non EMH nights for the reasons you yourselves are going - test track, mission space, soarin and even spaceship earth are the most popular and will have the greater lines

So, not likely to get on anything?

I wouldn't say anything but both Test Track and Soarin ? I wouldn't count on both. Test track is a very slow moving que.

Maybe because I've ridden every ride to the point of dizzy, but I love Illuminations and if it's your only night in Epcot don't miss out on it! With that said I've seen the test track que at 120 minutes with the SB line very long outside around the time of fireworks.

How about during illuminations if we skip that?

Not sure about Test Track, but we've been able to ride Soarin' three times during Illuminations in the past. We did use rider swap, though, so that helped a lot.

We were at Epcot recently on a non-EMH night. At about 8 pm, the posted wait on Test Track was 40 minutes but the actual wait was close to 10. The single rider line was probably even shorter.

During the summer, Epcot closes so early that we find EMH to be not very useful. Late night is still the best time for multiple rerides on the headliners with minimal waits.

We just did Epcot evening EMH last week. We rode TT twice in a row and the waits were about 15/20 minutes each. This was at about 9:45pm/10:00pm. Probably hit or miss but that was our experience. It seemed really quiet.

From looking at Touring Plans data and from personal experience (although it's been a few years), I'd hit Soarin' first before Test Track. You can hear TT as your leaving so a lot of onsite guest go for "one more ride". Soarin' being stuck in the bottom of the land pavilion doesn't get the impulse crowd.

According to Touring Plans Soarin' had a 15-30 minute wait during EMH last week (7 crowd day). Test Track started at a 70 minute wait right at 9:00 and dropped to 15-30 minutes by about 10:30
