I'm afraid I leaped before I looked! Saw a good airfare that would work with my daughter's school break and booked airfare for 9/1-9/8. Looking to get the fairytale package so was pretty pleased.
Thought crowds would be fairly low with schools back in session (we have year round). THEN saw that Night of Joy is 9/5 and 9/6.

What will the crowds be like at the parks and resorts??? Is it primarily at MK and should we avoid MK on those days??? Are all the parks going to be packed? Are there events at all the parks? Is this a deal where the even starts after MK closes?

We've only been in November and have had Jersey week and Supersoaps weekends to deal with. Is this about the same?

If it's no big deal, someone relieve my mind!

Thanks! Sharon

We were there last year at the time of Night of Joy. We couldn't wait to get out of MK the day of the event. Watching the sea of people flow into MK was incredible. Tons of unchaperoned teenagers, WOW!

It really didn't seem to affect the other parks. Just avoid MK on those days.

Thanks Harleymickey! I was hoping it would be at MK only. I wouldn't be going to MK on Friday or Saturday anyway. I'm somewhat relieved now...

Thanks again, Sharon

Nights of Joy is a Christian Music celebration with concerts and you must have a seperate ticket to attend. It is swarmed with church groups with mainly teenagers. Way to busy for me!
