Did anyone watch last night. It was about coupons and how much you could save. The people that were picked are what they called stars of coupns. They gave each person 50.00 in cash and sent them shopping to see who could get the most for there money. They went to two seperate stores. The man was able to get close to 600.00 dollars worth of stuff for 30.00 dollars and give the show back 20.00. The women didn't do as well, she got 180.00 dollars worth of stuff for 50.61 I think that is still great.

What you have to ask youself however is how much of the things they bought were things you would actually use, or did they only by them b/c they had the cupon?? That is the problem I have with cupon clipping. If you eliminate the things I will never use or would not normally buy then it is not a great as it looks at first!

If you get it free, or have an overage to have them pay YOU to take it, it is always worth it. You can find a way to use it, donate it, sell it, or trade it. If the man brought home hundreds worth for $30 he was getting a TON of free and overage stuff, I'd bet.
