Nightlight for bathroom?

Glow sticks! Our daughter hooked some on the rail of her upper bunk, and I put a couple in the bathroom also, worked so well.

You could also use a battery operated tea candle.
We use a battery operated tea candle as our bathroom nightlight. Purchased at Costco. Brought two onboard, but the battery in the first one we used lasted for the entire 14-night WBPC cruise. DW added a DCL logo from some peel -and-stick plastic ones purchased on Etsy.

There is only a plug for razors in the bathroom it won’t work for a nightlight. Anything you use needs to be battery powered

Just off the Wonder and used that plug for a Dollar Store nightlight just fine.

That makes sense to me, since I recollect that the shaver plug is rated for “20 VA” which corresponds to 20 watts. Many nightlights that use bulbs similar to old fashioned C7 Christmas bulbs are 5 to 7 watts each. There are also low power LED bulbs that fit these fixtures and use only 0.5 watts. Either of these technologies should work fine in the shaver outlet, as should any other LED configuration of nightlight.

My kids are worried about not having enough light at night to go down the ladder from the top bunk. Am I allowed to bring battery operated string lights and wrap them around one side of the ladder?

Am I allowed to bring battery operated string lights and wrap them around one side of the ladder?

Supposedly they’re not allowed, but I’ve brought LED ones twice with no problem. Maybe the incandesant ones got hot and the LED ones are fine but they haven’t updated the rules on the website?

Would the magic porthole work as a nightlight? How much light does it give off?

We used the dollar store tea lights, put them in a little (dollar store) mesh pouch (like for wedding favours) and hung it from the ceiling on a magnetic hook. It was just enough light without being too much.

You could also pack mini flashlights.

We received an LED Mickey nightlight. I looked them up online for future FE gift as we found it so useful. It gave off the perfect amount of light. It is about 2x3 inches and lies flat when not in use.
