My DNiece (15) (and her mom) will be joining me and fam on our trip in June. What's good night entertainment for her? She and her mom will be doing the evening EMH one night. What else is there? She'd love to be able to go dancing or something. I'd like to do something fun for her as she will be watching my two boys one night! TIA!

How about the comedy club or adventurers club at pleasure island?

I second the comedy club! It is good, clean fun for all ages.

If I am not mistaken, pleasure Island is 18 and up unless accompanied by a Guardian. I know that children are not permitted in certain clubs, but they are allowed in the Comedy Club. The Comedy Club is great fun.

I suggest your teen get on the Teen Board on this site and ask the experts!! My DS is now 17 and DD 15, but they usually just stay with us while at WDW. We do let them go off on their own for awhile at the Parks and DTD. They like the fact they get to sleep in every morning while DH and I lounge at the resort pool and relax over breakfast; we hit the Parks around noon and then stay until they close at midnight.
I'm sure there are teens on the Board who would be more than willing to share experiences. It would help to tell what resort you are staying at...there's often extra activities there for the teen as well.
Have Fun!! :earsgirl: :earsboy: :earsboy: :earsgirl:

I believe that while kids can go to PI, as long as they are with an adult, you must keep in mind that it was intended as an ADULT area. They are night clubs / bars. I for one do not bring my kids to night clubs at home and won't do it just because it is Disney.

Note that there are a few clubs that will not allow admittence to anyone under 21.

My dh and I took friends kids with us to DTD and PI in February they were 11 and 13. Admission is free to PI but you have to pay a cover or have a pass for the clubs. Personaly I would not have felt comfortable taking them to any of the clubs but they had a great time at DQ and the magic shop, we did some shopping and some line dancing at the west side stage. While we saw some "bar type activity" outside it wasn't to bad IMHO and they were fine with it. I think a night of shopping at DTD, a night at DQ and a night at the Boardwalk would all be fun for teens.

I have seen teens at CW and AC but depending on the cast they may or may not tone it down ~

The boardwalk has great pizza, carneval games and some great restaurants and shopping. My DN can spend all his time at the ESPN club as he is a total sports nut. They can also rent a surry bike and do a few loops around the boardwalk, beach club area.

You may find with EMH a park is open late each night as well and the arcades at the Contemporary, Polynesian and CSR are worth a trip - esp for teens.
