Hey Disers!

I'm planning my trip to the land for April next year and am stuck with night time entertainment. I know the fireworks don't show during the weekdays but do they show Fantasmic on Friday nights? I always try and see each of the night time shows twice but like to try and avoid being at the parks on the weekends. I know it's not busy compared to Summer but Saturday's still busier compared to Monday! Do I just suck it up and plan two days in the park over the weekend to make sure I can at least see paint the night twice? I'm guessing the odds of seeing F! Disneyland forever and paint the night in one night are pretty slim!?

No fireworks on weekdays? That's disappointing! I, too, am going to Disneyland (for the first time) next April. I guess I'm used to Disney World which has fireworks every night. I'd think that with spring break crowds and the 60th anniversary DL would have fireworks midweek but I guess not! Is that true year round?

If you are going during peak spring break season, there will likely be fireworks every night. During the off season, only Friday thru Sunday. DL is in a residential area and is limited on when and how often they can do fireworks. As for PTN, I'm hopeful it will run nightly through the anniversary year. F! Runs Friday- Sunday in the off season.

Yeah, the seasonal fireworks were a bit of a surprise for our first trip... Who knew? I think it's a negotiated settlement with the surrounding residential areas... WDW has only their own land in the immediate vicinity.

We just make sure to include a weekend, which does include Friday, to see the fireworks and/or F! in our stay. But wind can also cancel fireworks, and they sadly don't do make-up shows if they get canceled.
