We are planning a trip at Thanksgiving. Is is possible to see the CP & Illuminations show @ Epcot on the same night?

Also is it possible to see the Fantasmic & Osborne Lights on the same night at MGM?

Are the Christmas trees up at the Disney resort hotels at Thanksgiving?

Is is possible to see both the Spectromagic parade & Wishes show at the MK on the same night?

Any information you have about these questions would be so helpful in planning our itinerary.

Thank you so much

You will need to check a calendar of events for most of those questions.

CP does not run every night, you can find a schedule later in the year. It will not be performed at the same time Illuminations is going on, so yes, you can do both in one night IF you are there when the Processional is going on.

The Osbourne lights are turned on at 6:00, so you can see them and then head to Fantasmic. Depending on the crowds and time of Fantasmic, you need to go thru the lights and hoof it over to the stadium, some say at least 30-45 minutes in advance.

All the Christmas decorations are in place by the Sunday after Thanksgiving, some earlier.

The parade at MK is run before Wishes. We watch the parade and move a little to get a better view of the Castle. They are usually within an hour of each other.

Yes. I recommend the CP dinner package if it is offered again this year. We had ADRs for 4:20 at LeCellier and then attended the 6:45 CP show. After it was over we strolled around the countries for a few minutes and then I found good seats for Illuminations (9:30) while DH took the kids on the boat rides in Norway and Mexico.

Yes, again. And again, I suggest the Fantasmic Dinner Package. We saw Fantasmic at 7 and then went over to the Lights afterwards. Granted, it was crowded but we didn't mind a bit. By the end of the evening, though, it really started thinning out. We stayed there until park closing and it was nice walking through MGM toward the exit with virtually no one in the park.

Yes.

Yes. We saw Spectromagic at 8pm and Wishes at 9pm.

If you have further questions, feel free to ask.

Thank you both for the information....and especially Tammi67 for those times!

My husband thinks I'm nutz, but he doesn't realize how much effort it is to plan all of this and make it work.

Typical man. :rotfl2:

Be sure to double check the times as the dates get closer; they change year to year and day to day.

I've been at Christmas twice so feel free to ask questions if you need!
