Night of Joy!

Hello,

I have just booked tickets to go to the night of joy (NOJ) on the 8th September.

My DH likes the band Kutless and they are playing whilst we are there so for his birthday I have just bought them online.

When I bought the MNSSHP tickets the postage was $3.00 yet for these its $10.00, not sure why that is?

Anyhow just thought I would share my update on the disney planning front!

Has anyone been to the NOJ?

I think there has been some confusion about postage costs to the UK because some people we changed $10 for the MNSSHP tickets!

$3.00 is domestic, I think it's $10.00 normally for overseas. HOWEVER, you can request tickets be will-called, that is free.

I used to like going to the Night of Joys, the kids have gotten rowdier in current years (I went first over 20 years ago, when Amy Grant played - I think it was the first one).

I'm excited to be going to our first Night of Joy this year. I got a little scared off reading some of the reports about rowdy kids, but as former youth directors I guess we just expect that when you have kids in a park unchaperoned (even "Christian kids"), they will still be teenagers...

I think that if you set your expectations to accommodate that, and are excited about the bands, you'll have a great time! At least that's what I'm hoping!!

I've never had a bad time when I've been - but the crowds have changed. From what I understand, the NOJ evenings are the worst days of the year for store theft at the MK. Hard to believe, but that has been the word for years.

Anyway - as long as you realize there are a LOT of teenagers running around, that is fine. It sounds like you are prepared!
