Night of Joy??'s Do you need another ticket??

We have park hopper passes for 9/11-9/18/04. Recently we learned that our first day at WDW is the last day of NOJ. Since this will be our only Saturday night at WDW we had planned to spend it at MK as we thought this may be our only chance to see the special night time parade and fireworks during the non-peak season (this is our first visit to WDW, however, so we are not sure if this is true). Now we learn there is a NOJ concert that night. Will the park close early and only be open to those with NOJ tickets, or just how does that work? Please share any inforamtion you may have about this night.

Yes, the park will close early and then re-open for Night of Joy. NOJ is what they call a "hard ticket" event, which means that you need an additional ticket to enter.

Night of Joy is a Christian music festival. Stages are set up throughout the park for live concerts, and there are some autograph sessions and other events. Virtually the entire park is open, from an attraction and ride standpoint, although some of the restaurants will be closed.

Tickets are $36.95 per person in advance, $41.95 per person at the door.
