Night of Joy questions. . .

Last year, dd and I went to the Night of Joy. When we picked up our tickets to the event, the ticket man told me that we could get in early, around 4:30 or so. Is this common practice? Does anyone know if we could get in early enough to have a TS dinner in the MK, without a theme park ticket, just a Night of Joy ticket? And, if the MK closes at 6:00 or so to non-Night of Joy people, would they even take ADRs at 4:30 or 5:00?

Thanks!

Anita (who is looking foward to seeing the Newsboys!!!!!)

I don't know if that's true. I don't think it would be.

ANyway, I'm interested to know too. I'm going to Night of Joy for the first time this year, and so we'll bump this back up!

I am going to the Night of Joy for the first time also, with my best friend and another really good friend of mine(we can't wait)!

And I did hear that you can get into the Magic Kingdom park at 4:00p.m. with just your Night of Joy ticket.

hi,

we went last year and they definately let you in at 4 with the night of joy ticket!! it was cool, because once we were in, there were certain thing (like restaurants) that you could only get in if you had the night of joy wristband.

why did they only go with 2 nights this year?

What is "Night of Joy" ?

Night of Joy is a hard ticket event at the Magic Kingdom. Contemporary Christian performers play on stages set up throughout the Magic Kingdom. The rides are open, so you get to listen to music in a concert setting, or ride the rides while hearing the music as you walk through the park.

I'm a little confused as to how the Night of Joy works. You need a seperate ticket so I'm assuming that this goes on after the park closes? How do I purchase this ticket and are they limited to a certain number? Is there a place on the Disney site where I can get more info (I find the Disney site a little difficult to manage and get info from).

TIA

"Welcome to the DisBoards" :wave2:

And no worrys you can ask as many questions as you like here, we all love to talk Disney here( as you will soon find out)!

Here is another site for Night of Joy that you might want to check out
www.nightofjoy.com

There are five of us going to the Night of Joy( for the first time), we can't wait! It is going to be sooooooooo awesome!

This should be interesting..... a previous poster talked about restaurants not being open except to those with night of joy tickets....... I have ADR for CP at 5:55p on 9/10. I knew about Night of Joy, but wasn't thinking when i made the ADR. We will not be attending the concerts. I did call disney dining back again to see if those reservations would still be honored and was told "yes, CP still reads as open to all". Hope that's true, or It will not be a "Night of Joy" for us!!!! ;) if anyone hears differently, Please post!!! TIA

Does any one know if the bus will run to the resort after the concert?
There are 7 of us going. My 3 and my nice and nephew. I can't wait to see Casting Crown and Toby Mac.

Yeah, if there are people in the park, the busses will run.

I'm SOOOOOOOO excited! My sweet dd is excited about Audio Adrenaline, I'm excited about the Newsboys, and dh and ds will probably just ride the rides, but that's OK.

Hi,
We have never been to Night of Joy, how crowded is it? We have been to MVMCP compare it to that. Are the tickets that are sold limited?
Thanks,
