Night of Joy questions

I'm doing a Mother/daughter trip in September for Disney's NOJ

I have a couple questions for some of you who have been before

Do they empty the park early and then let those with tickets in? how early can you go into the park for the concerts?

also, I know some of the rides are open - but what about restaraunts? I was thinking of making PS in MK before the concerts but not sure of times I should do that...

I'm so excited - I just keep planning and replanning our trip.

When I was there in 2002 I believe they were letting in the NOJ people before the park was closed, schools and youth groups had the option of being there for the afternoon I beleive.
The park was full of non NOJ people and it was so much fun because none of them had a clue why there were thousands of people on their way in instead of out when cm's started to ask people to leave I heard several complain about the "herds" of people coming in.
I dont remember about the restaurants I know counter service ones were open very late, im not sure about table service though as this is known to bring mostly teens and young adults.
At pecos bills my mom and I asked to set in the roped off area because the people next to us were not eating but pounding on their table.
The lines for the rides were really long up to 2 hours for btmrr.
My mom and I had a really fun weekend though and im really glad we went, I loved it , lots of people dont like to go because it completly changes the atmosphere of the MK but I found it exciting,

It looks like I should count on hitting many rides during the concerts huh? do they still have fast passes during NOJ?
