My DD10 and especially my DD5 are concerned about how dark the staterooms are. Is there a night light somewhere? If not, would we be able to bring our own?? :confused3:

TIA

We are bring nightlights, but we are in an inside room (no outsidelight at all!) I have heard of some people leaving the bathroom light on with the door cracked (something we do often in hotel rooms) or that there is a small light for the upper bunk if it is lowered and/or used.
Nightlights seemed like such a small item on the "helpful tips list" it is definitely on my list!

We brought one, and also left the bathroom light on with the door cracked.
I work graveyard and sleep days, and my wife used to, so sleeping with lights on isn't a problem for us, nor for our kids. Better than tripping over shoes at 3 am for sure.

Take your nightlight, leave the TV on, take a flashlight and lots of batteries. The rooms are DARK. I usually leave the bathroom light on and the bathroom door cracked but this is only good if the seas are calm. On the last cruise I bungee corded the bath door to a fold-out tie rack in the closet nearby but when the ship started rollin' the cord stretched back and forth and finally went twanging across the room...nearly killed my Service Dog who was sleeping in the line of fire...You could take a battery-operated camp light as well. There is a place to plug in a light or an extension cord or power strip so you could take any number of lights to keep the boogey man away...

We always take a nightlight with us and plug it in the bathroom.

Are there not any bedside type of lights if you need get up in the night?

There are lamps on either side of the bed.

When I was in an inside state room, I took a night light and plugged it into the plug that was behind the TV. It gets very dark in an inside stateroom.

Thank you all for the responses. We will be in a Cat 6, so we will have a verandah (and hopefully some moonlight) and we will be bringing a night light or two just to be sure. My DW posted the same query on the Resorts Board, but I don't know what response she has had. Thanks again. :earsboy: :earsgirl:
