Night Blooming Jasmine

Hi All ,
I am Larry
I live in Fla.
This morning about 6 am I went outside on my back porch to smell my night blooming jasmine, they are in full bloom with hundred of thousands of blooms and a wonderful fragrance.
Anyways as I was on my porch it was just getting light and I could hear something like bees in the jasmine. As it got lighter I could see thousands of something flying around the blooms. As it finally got light enough to see I found it was thousands of 1" humming birds.. what awesome site. I went in to get my camera and when it was light enough to take a picture they all left.. I guess I will try again tomorrow morning..
I thought I would share this wonder of nature with you..

That really must of been an amazing sight, Larry. You're a lucky man to have the beautiful fragrance of night blooming jasmine right outside you door!!

Thanks for the warm welcome, and YES I am the LARRY Nat spoke of in another post.
I have been trying to take a picture of the Hummingbirds but since they go home as it gets light out, this is the best I could do for now.

what is night blooming jasmine. Since moving to winter haven a year ago I have added confederate jasmine, carolina jasmine and star jasmine, but none are blooming now. i LOVE the smell of jasmine. where did you get yours? Sounds wonderful.

I live in Tampa area and got my night blooming Jasmine at Home depot in lakeland.. It took many trips to find them in stock.. They do frost but you cut them back to ground and they come back even bigger and better the next year. I cut my back in Feb. 2003 so what you see is 1 years growth..

Oh Larry, it sounds wonderful. I'd love to be able to have Jasmine and Hummingbirds too. I'd get up in the middle of the night for that.
