Hello Everyone.
I wanted to report my findings from the various restaurants while on the DDP. These were my ADR's
22 - Crystal Palace
23 -
24 - Biergarten
25 - Le Cellier
26 - Sci Fi Dinner Theatre
27 - Hoop Dee Doo
28 - Liberty Tree Tavern
The Crystal Palace was very nice with the characters. DD4 loved eating here and getting hugs from Pooh, Eeyore, Tigger, and Piglet. The food here was good. The carved meats were very juicy and the apple cobbler was to die for with some ice cream.
Biergarten was awesome!! We got stuck on a boat from DS to EP. Didn't realize it stopped at five resorts before going to EP. We were 40 minutes late for our ADR, and they still seated us anyway!! Food was very good. Beer was big as mentioned and delish!! I was really disappointed that there wasn't any black forest cake. So many on here said they loved it! Oh well...
Le Cellier was very nice with a knowledgable server. He gave it to us right to the point about what was with the DDP. Food was all good. DH had New York Strip, I had mushroom filet mignon, without the risotto. I subbed the cream cheese mashed potatoes. Excellent. My Step father had the mushroom filet with the risotto. I tried it, I was very good too. Can't go wrong there!! My mother had the Chef's Experience with the Prime Rib. Very delish. For deserts most had the chocolate moose, I had the chocolate whiskey cake. They both totally rocked!!! Tried the Cheddar Cheese soup. I thought it was okay. Nothing to rave about like some others on the boards. Sorry.
Sci Fi- It was a long wait to get in for some reason. Had ADR but still waited about 40 minutes. Weird I thought!! But once inside it was great. Nice atmosphere. DD4 thought the cars were cool. She didn't pay to much attention to the movies. As for the food everyone in our party had the ribs. They were EXCELLENT!! Fries were good, coleslaw wasn't the best. Just our taste. But the ribs. Wow!!
Hoop Dee Doo. I know this is a touchy subject for many. Arrived and had a nice family picture taken. Turned out nice. I thought the 30 some dollars for the package was worth it. Show was about what I expected, does seem to appeal (IMO) to an age 40+ crowd. I did laugh at some things, but the older ones really enjoyed it. Chicken was great! Ribs, big thumb down. They were simply awlful. You couldn't get the meat off the bones. I think they must have rushed them cooking. Baked Beans were very BBQey. Nothing like Bush's. They had quite a bite with a smokeyness to them. Cornbread and strawberry shortcake, Very good!!
Liberty Tree Tavern - Ate here before, and this time did not dissapoint. Simple description, a good holiday meal!! There was turkey, ham and beef. All delish!! The apple cobbler with icecream was a great finale!!
