Nicknames for your kid....

Our oldest daughter, Christina, is Nina Bean, or Beanie. When she was just learning to talk, she couldn't say Christina and instead said "Nina." It stuck, and that's what she is still called!

Our youngest daughter, Sarah, is Sarah Boo, but usually just Boo. But, we were informed during a trip last week that she would now like to be referred to as "Courtney", her middle name! So, we said that's fine, but she has to learn to spell it first! She spells it Couteey!?!

DS(15) name is Devin, right now he is called Dev, but when he was little he was DeverCakes. DD(11) name is Sarah, she is Sarahbear, her dad calls her Bugs, not sure why.

Hehehe - DH calls our DS that! (He is a Ray, not a Fred). I call DS Bud, DD is Toots. DS and DD call each other Stinky. Delightful, huh ?

DS(6) name is David, we call him Davey( after late Davey Allison-Nascar driver) I also call hi Budro.

DD(15) her name is Tiffany, we call her Tiff or Sissy(her brother calls her sissy, so we just followed suit)

DS(13) Jordan - used to be Peanut, but he outgrew it.
DS (2) Connor - Bear, Baby-bear, Connor-bear, or (love this one) Connor-saurus-zilla-monster (DW and I are certifiable!)

We also call both punkin', honey, sweetie, sweet-pea, punk, buddy, and kiddo.

Sarah has been called MRS. Cohen for as long as I can remeber since she was about 2? My mother calls her Matilda Snodgrass.

Kellen, is usually called Kell, by everyone. When he was a baby he was called Bubba.

Aidan is now called Bubba.
Regan is always Reegie or Reger horrible I know.

Genericly they are all as a group have been called..... Boo, Fred, and The little ones we frequently call Wackie Jackie.

My grandmother calls all 16 kids in the family, Either Fred, J Fred Muggs, (an old monkey toy my Aunt had) Matlida Snodgrass, or Chickie for the girls.

Geez, we use so many. Kevin is his given name but we call him Kevo, Kevman, Boo, Booman, Boo Boo(those last three are never allowed in front of friends), knothead, knucklehead, but I will always proudly call him "Son".

DS is Grant

and we call him G, g-money, money, rocket, boo, bud, son, and my very favorite late at night when I kiss him on his forehead and tuck him back in his covers ....my sweet angel baby.

DD is often called peanut, peanut head, potato, potato head and Mrs. Potato head, ta-to head.

Don't know where we got these nicknames from, but we call our 19 month old DD birdie, birdie sunshine, bird or marma!!

Francesca is Frankie or Chessy but a boy at school started calling her French Toast Sticks and that seems to be sticking now.

I have a cousin named, well, Moochie. Frankly I can't remember her real name and she's about 23 years old now. She used to mooch food from everyone as a baby.

When DS was 3 he told us he wasn't Pete anymore he was now Jake. OK we went along with it. He's now 17 and we still call him Jake at home.

My friend has kids named Ian and Christina. She calls them Frank and Loretta. That's my favorite nickname story.
