Nicki & Todd are at it again, F&W style, snacking & drinking oh my! LIVE Tonight!!

Wow!!! Fultons looks great! Chambord is my FAV mixer! I hope you have a great time today!!! Don't forget to check on that special bag I was wondering about! ;) ;)

AND Lots of pictures, please!!! Cait and I are looking forward to grazing at F&W (a lot!!!) AND.... would you check on what the ingredients are for the Pomagranate Kir is.... I'm allergic to red dye, and would like to know if I shouldn't keep it on my list of things to drink...LOL!!!

I noticed that Goofy's changed their build-a-sugar-rush... 1 topping/ 1 dip... bummer! Can't wait for more reviews!!!

Sorry hun, no more F&W bags...I looked at every single place they would have them and they are gone..also the kids in France had no clue what I was asking them so I will have to try again on Sunday!

You have some of the best pics and reviews ever! I can't wait for more!:santa:

Thank you so much! Having a ton of trouble with PhotoBucket today, hopefull tonight it will work

wow fultons looks fab, shame it's not on ddp.

And I am drooling over the Goofys pics........popcorn::

I know but it is sooo good for seafood! Got to get back to Goofys before we go home

Well, in that case, can you get me the Spinach, tomato & feta egg scramble and a pot of pressed coffee please ;)

Oh man, I'm craving one of those soft yummy Gingerbread Men!! :goodvibes My boys made a Haunted Gingerbread House the other night, and all I smell right now is gingerbread! Too bad the damn thing is hard as a rock! :rotfl2:

Well you know my wonderful hubby..he cancelled Kouzzina...but more on that coming up AND he ate 3 of my gingerbread men!

Alright your pics and reviews so far almost had me packed and out the door to the airport to jump on any flight to Orlando. I was going to leave DH and the kids to fend for themselves and fly alone which I hate and am terrified of just to have a mickey rice krispy treat. I really need to spend less time on the Dis.

Thanks so much for the great pics and reviews YOU ROCK!!!

That would be fun to ditch the family and go solo! Thanks for reading!

I've never been to Blue Zoo so I'm excited! You enjoy your meal at Il Mulino it's one of my favorites!!!

Cannot wait for Il Mulino tomorrow!

Fulton's looked yummy! We had a seafood platter for 2 once before that we shared between 3 people, it was a LOT of food! And I love that you bring tupperware into Goofy's!

We saw a family of 4 attacking that platter...it was huge!

I love reading your reviews! making notes for my Feb trip, thanks Nicki:flower3:

Welcome and I hope I can add some more yummy things to your list!

Nicki, So glad to read another of your reviews! I shouldn't read it before lunch, though. Darn, I'm hungry now!
:goodvibes

So glad to have you here!

 Your pictures are wonderful!! I've been reading a few of your reviews the last few days, and they've been helping me make lots of important ADR decisions for February!! :thumbsup2

And now I want to go to Fulton's just for the cocktails!! :drinking1 Yum

I appreciate your kind words! Fultons has the best cocktails!

Great review of Fultons! I've never been there so it was neat to see what you guys ate. Also, those pictures from Goofy's have me drooling! Have the options for the make your own treat have changed or am I just remembering it differently? I wonder if the cupcakes taste as good as they look?!

You would love Fultons! I have not had a make your own treat in a long time, still mad at WDW for taking away the Reese Peanut Butter cup topping!

Oh, thank you for the Fulton's review!!! I ate at that place ONCE practically 20 years ago (it was MY choice when I went with my mom and siblings) and loved it! I have not been back because I had read bad reviews but that dinner looks FABULOUS! Thank you!

By the way, what are the dipped Mickey lolly things??? They are making me drool and I don't even know what they are :lmao:

We have dined at Fultons 3 times in the last 12 months and each time the food was out of this world...I say you should go back to it! I think they are rice krispie treats on a stick covered in alot of good stuff!

Wow, the pictures from Fulton is making me drool and dream about the lobster. I think I need to remove Yatchman's Steakhouse and add Fulton (my husband loves seafood and not a red meat eater but I got Yatchman's Steakhouse b/c I wanted to try but after looking at your pictures I changed my mind). Loving your review and can't to read or drool more :rotfl2:

I would ditch Yatchsman in a heartbeat for Fultons...so much better!

Hi Nicki! I am just joining in...thanks to our good friend Goofy Gal!! thanks Mare! Love reading your dining reviews...and I have never been to the F&W festival!

I have been dieting for 2 weeks and your pics are making my mouth water...:rotfl: I need to grab a low cal yogurt quick!!!

Looking foward to more reviews....Blue:flower3:

I just love Mare..she is the best! Glad to have you here and I hope you enjoy the pictures! I need to diet big time after today..and there are 3 more days to come!

yay I cant wait to read you reviews tonight I love them

Coming up soon, Photobucket was giving me grief this afternoon but it seems to be ok now

Welcome!

So do we get a mid-day review soon? ... we know Todd needs to come back and rest up for dinner... ;) :lmao: :rolleyes1 (Hi Todd!!! :wave2:) Isn't that the norm though???

Hope you're having a great time!!! Can't wait to hear about your day!

I was just thinking the same thing! :rotfl:

:lmao::lmao::lmao:

I've been thinking the same thing. I'm tired of reading about the Olympics (I'm glad they aren't here) and I keep checking to see if Todd is napping. :upsidedow

WAITING!!!!!!....

(I guess you haven't tired the poor man out yet huh? Must be the food's too interesting at F&W...) We were hoping on those mid-day naps... guess we'll still WAIT.... ;););)

Me three....

Ok my friends..here is the story and I am sticking to it! :rotfl: We came back to the room around 1:30 because it was very hot out and Todd needed a nap as he was getting very cranky with me (My husband the 3 year old) and I was trying for 2 hours to load pictures on Photobucket but they would not load...then I left a deep in REM sleep hubby to meet Disneyfav4ever at Epcot and I am working on it now for ya'll! Geez leave my peeps for a minute and they are calling out the dogs for food porn...you addicts! :rotfl:

It must be just me but every time I see the title of this thread my mind goes straight to the gutter..."Nicki & Todd are at it again"....:rolleyes1

:lmao::lmao::rotfl2:

I was thinking the same darn thing.

Oh good, I'm not the only pervert here!:rotfl:

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my friends, The Mind in The Gutter Twins...you dirty things you, this is a family channel :rotfl2:

Good evening everyone! Just got back to the room and what a day we had!

Started off with DH cancelling our Kouzzina breakfast, but did you really expect anything else from Senor Not Feeling It?

We had a wonderful morning, the weather is gorgeous but then it got hot! Did breakfast at BW Bakery, made rope drop..super quiet park. Did all the rides and the fish feeding at the aquarium. Still no crowds...went to the F&W center and checked out all the cool stuff I want to buy.

Headed to the countries at 11am and did alot, I mean alot!

Senor Cranky Pants made his appearance at 1pm and we went back to the resort.

I tried like heck to load the pictures but Photobucket was fussy, must have been speaking with my husband, and would not load them. DH fell asleep the minute we came in the room and I left him to go back to France and meet Disneyfav4ever for a drink and left him a note to meet me at 6pm at Flying Fish.

Tons of pictures are coming up soon because like DH, Photobucket is happy and obeying me once again!

Stay tuned!

Well you know my wonderful hubby..he cancelled Kouzzina...but more on that coming up AND he ate 3 of my gingerbread men!

:lmao::lmao::lmao:Good thing he already got his Fulton's dinner or he'd be in REAL trouble. :rotfl2:

Ladies and Gentlemen, I present to you my friends, The Mind in The Gutter Twins...you dirty things you, this is a family channel :rotfl2:

And you are the leader of "us" Gutter Twins, my friend! :worship:

We were up early...ok scratch that...I was up early and I was fidgety until DH finally woke up. We walked to the BWI and when he viewed the Kouzzina menu he said Nope, Not Feeling It. Ok fine what do you want then? We went next door to the BWI and had a great breakfast....he could not over order because I was right there with him.

The BW was quiet and peaceful and the weather was great.

DH started with a crappy coffee and OJ..I had water.

Todd loves bacon so he had the bacon egg cheese croissant. He loved it and said the bacon was super crispy, lean and not greasy. I will take his word for it as I dont like WDW bacon.

Food003-3.jpg

I had the egg and cheese croissant...it was ok...the eggs were too well done for me and the croissant was soggy....the birds helped me finish it. I have had this before and normally it is excellent.

Food002-3.jpg

They didnt have small fruit plates so we got the large one...DH had the strawberry yogurt and the fruit was so flavorful and fresh...loved it!

Food001-2.jpg

We made it to Epcot for rope drop and the park was empty but it was getting super hot super fast. I was able to snag a menu pic of Le Cellier lunch and dinner and Coral Reef Lunch and dinner.

At 11 am the alarm bell in my head went off and we started our tour of the F&W booths...first up was the Dessert and Champagne Booth. DH had the Nectar Imperial Rose and he loved it...it was good but he finished off before I could get a second sip. And I committed a sin..I forgot to take a picture of it but think of fizzy pink stuff and there you have it.

Food016-3.jpg

Here are some pics of the Austrian Bundt Cake

Food017-3.jpg

Food018-3.jpg

Across the way it was the Mousecatch and we had the sampler of three cheese...they were all fantastic!

Food023-2.jpg

Food024-2.jpg

Food019-2.jpg

Food020-2.jpg

At Argentina we shared a beef empanada...it was great. Large portion, spicy and the salsa was the best!

Food021-2.jpg

Food022-2.jpg

On to Poland for pierogi and kielbasa...very good! Not greasy but the portion was too small to share.

Food025-2.jpg

Food026-2.jpg

From there it was on to China..it was so hot out I had to get my Peach Snap...it was much stronger than it usually is so it tasted even better!

Food029-2.jpg

DH had the potstickers....I had a bite..they were very good!

Food027-2.jpg

Food028-1.jpg

At India we tried the Chilled Mango Lassi, very good and I thought it tasted like Gerber Peaches (baby food), DH thinks I am nuts and said to tell you it tasted like a mango smoothie

Food030-2.jpg

Food032-2.jpg

And here are pics of the other 2 items in India

Food031-2.jpg

Onto Germany, look at the size of this GingerBread Cookie!

Over to Italy where we shared a pizza, sauce and cheese were good but the crust was terrible, hard as a rock. Would not get this again. Also had the Primavera, very refreshing!

Food043-1.jpg

Food044-1.jpg

Food045-1.jpg

Food046-1.jpg

DH had a pretzel stick with cheese at the Brewers Collection...the pretzel was rock hard and the cheese sauce was scalding hot and spicy

Food047-1.jpg

At Morocco I had the falafel pita..it was terrible...super spicy and the pita was dry and stale. I also had the mint ice tea and it tasted like I was drinking wintergreen bubble gum..GROSS!

Food048-1.jpg

Food050-1.jpg

Food049-1.jpg

When I went out later I grabbed the Parisien Cosmo Slush, it was very good, nice and strong and one of my new faves! Grey Goose, Cranberry Juice and Contreau

Food051-1.jpg

DH met me at 6pm for our Flying Fish dinner...the restaurant was empty so they sat us early. Our server was Hilda and she was great! Here are some menu pics for you

Food062.jpg

We just had ice teas...the bread is to die for, possibly the best bread at WDW, served hot and crusty and tender on the inside..not enough butter though.

Food063.jpg

Food064.jpg

Todd had what else? The tomato mozzarella salad..he has ordered this the last three times we have been to FF and he loves it...to be honest so do I!

Food066.jpg

I had the caesar, if you love garlic you will love this...if I exhaled right now I would wipe out all the vampires in Transylvania! So good tho!

Food067.jpg

Todd had, what else, the NY Strip, the last three times he has ordered the same thing and he swears that it is the best steak he ever had. Ordered med well (ick) and super tender he ate every single bite. This time he subbed out the potatoes and carrots for french fries (amazing) and stir fry veggies (he loved them) and we were not charged the difference.

Food069.jpg

Food070.jpg

I tried a new dish, the shrimp and pasta....it was loaded with shrimp and the fresh veggies and light broth were to die for. Excellent dish! Very tender shrimp and the pasta was cooked to a perfect al dente. The veggies and tomatoes were cooked just right, not over done at all.

Food073.jpg

Nothing on the dessert menu wowed us so we decided to go back to Epcot.

Food074.jpg

Food075.jpg

Food076.jpg

Food077.jpg

Flying Fish is def one of our must do restaurants...it is fantastic and after three times dining here we are always very happy!

So glad to hear y'all enjoyed FF once again! Also, the Parisien slush is strong?? May have to try that baby!:thumbsup2

Since we skipped dessert DH wanted something sweet and we popped into BWI Bakery..he had the eclair with bavarian cream inside...he LOVED it!

Food084.jpg

And more pics from the bakery...note there are no pumpkin items and no more banana split cake

Food078.jpg

Food079.jpg

Food080.jpg

Food081.jpg

Food082.jpg

We went back to Epcot and I needed a sweet treat so since France was right there I had the chocolate milk creme brulee from the F&W booth..the line was sooo long but totally worth it. This was amazing and light, super creamy, nice and chocolatey but not too much and just perfect! Need to get more soon!

Food087.jpg

Food088.jpg

The crowds were insane, you could not walk, you could not move, you could not breathe....we made it to Chile and had the dulce de leche cookie...super sweet and rich and any more than one bite would make me nauseated but it was a good cookie..just too sweet. Yeah its small but loaded with the caramel filling and the cookie itself is super dense. There was some shrimp ceviche being prepared so I snapped a pic, have not tried it yet.

Food089.jpg

Food091.jpg

Food090.jpg

Our last stop for a nightcap was Puerto Rico. Can you believe this guy carded us? I said DUDE I AM AN OLD LADY, 37! He carded me anyways....so here is his picture and if you see him give him a hard time for me! :rotfl:

Food093.jpg

Food092.jpg

I had the frozen Mojito...it was excellent! Loved it and would get it again!

Food094.jpg

Todd had the dragon berry colada and he really liked it...basically a berry colada. He said he looked silly carrying a pink drink :lmao:

Food095.jpg

And lastly some cute Halloween shirts from the gift shop in front of these 2 food booths.
