We are considering staying here for a night to go to legoland and come back and experience the resort. Can anyone give me any feedback? Our daughter will be almost 5.

I can't give you feedback but I would also like to hear more about the resort. I'm curious about pricing. How does it compare to Disney hotels?

Pricing isn't bad. We are looking at 2 adult tickets and one child to legoland and a one night stay for $248. Legoland tickets on there own $84 for adults and $77 for kids.

We've stayed here twice. We went for Spring Break in 2013 and also Spring Break 2010. We stayed 2 nights each time. We had a great time and I'd recommend it. I've heard a lot of reviews that aren't positive about the Nick Hotel, but you can't go into it expecting Disney quality, because it just isn't. We had lots fun at the pools and water areas, went to live shows which were really cool, got pictures with characters, played in the arcade, and used the basketball court. We were there for Easter both times and they had characters out with eggs with candy in them. I'm not sure we'll ever go again because my kids just don't love water parks all that much, but we enjoyed it both times we went.

We did the Nick Resort in the Fall and loved it. We got a really great deal with the kids getting free Sea World tickets with our Nick stay.

Loved everything about it! It is not something you spend 2 days doing. You need to spend sometime there to meet characters, see a show or 2 and play on the water slides. As long as you go there knowing it is not a vacation alone you will enjoy it. I thought the characters meets were fantastic. Zero wait and they took their time with the kids. We met Dora, Diego, Boots, Sponge Bob, Patrick, Squidward, Pablo and the TMNT during our 2 night stay. We saw the Double Dare show and the Dora Show. We had breakfast with the turtles. We had a suite with bunk beds for the kids. It was clean, roomy, well themed and we loved it. Don't be freaked out by all the bad recommendations.

Wow. That is a really good deal. The hotel room is basically free then with that deal!
If you do hunt around, you can get a free kids ticket when you buy an adult ticket. You can buy the tickets online or they are also sold at publix supermarkets.
