Nick Show Taping

Hello! We are planning our first trip to Universal Studios in June. I've been trying to find a schedule for Nick shows taping during our visit (I doubt there are any) and can't seem to find the right place to look. Any information would be appreciated.

Also does anyone know if there is a car rental place on site at Universal?

I have seen a car rental place in the lobby of the Portofino Bay hotel.
For the Nick show schedule, Guest Services at Studios may have more info for you.

I am pretty sure that they stopped taping shows in Orlando.

Nick Studios basically serves no purpose now, except for a lame interactive game show. They completely stopped taping there.

Thanks! That's why I can't find anything! When we went to California a couple of years ago they said most of the taping was in Orlando! Darn it!

Slime Time, and SPLAT! are flimed at Universal Orlando in the summer months, so you might have a chance to see that.

Anybody have any info about getting the taping schedules for Slime Time and Splat! ? My boys are willing to dedicate an entire day if needed in order to make it to one of the tapings! Please let me know.

When we went in the end of September 2003, the production assistants that were with the adience told us that we were very lucky because it was the last season of Slime Time Live...we may have been some of the last tapings because I saw alot of reruns and then nothing after that. I think they replaced it with Splat...I called everywhere I could think of trying to see if Slime Time Live episodes would even air in the future anymore (like really late at night or something) and they said they would not be shown again ever. I was devastated because I thought we recorded over our only video tape of our son on it, thank goodness, the most important part (The Big Shaboozi) wasn't recorded over. I missed alot of other parts and such but at least got all that...
I think I also remember reading in another thread or site that even Splat isnt recorded at US Orlando anymore..I think it is in California.

Got my hopes up there for a moment on the slime time filming, but I think you are right it's gone for good...

If anyone hears anything about taping, hopefully they'll post...

I actually called the number yesterday.....they told me that at this time there were no scheduled tapings but that they also post them on nick.com. That's all I have for now!
