Is there one? Just wondering. We're considering it for our trip in March and want to know what Disers think... since DISers are usually the smartest people I know when it comes to vacation (and life in general) :goodvibes Any good tips or tricks? What do all the "extras" cost??

Thanks in advance!

ps.... if there's not a thread, for anyone that's stayed there, your thoughts? positives/negatives? They have a special for the fall, 3rd night free. Do they run this special (or similar) year round? I know Disney specials like the back of my hand, I'm so nervous branching out to off-site, Universal and beyond! :rotfl:

I have'nt stayed there yet but were booked for Sunday-Tuesday. When I get back ill post a detailed review for you guys! I dont know about the 3rd night free special but I got some 99 dollar special off the nick hotel website.

Sounds great Hershey... thanks so much!!! We are super excited :) I didn't think we could get so excited about staying "off property" but we really are. Hope you guys have a blast!:goodvibes

I liked it there but I think the 3 night stay is plenty. It is not a luxury hotel. It is basically a motel with elaborate themeing and a fun pool.

It was clean the food was fair but I really wasnt expecting more. The character breakfast was cute. It was also walk up, no reservation needed.

We've stayed there a few times and the kids REALLY like it!
The shows were fun...(typical over-the-top Nick type stuff, but still enjoyable!).
Food court is reasonably priced, by Orlando standards and we thought the character breakfast was very good. Shout out to the Subway employees there...as hard working a Subway crew as I've seen!
Regarding the character breakfast- during busier times of the year, I'd suggest reservations.
Room quality was good-very clean bathroom.
We couldn't kids the kids to leave Nick Suites when were there last Dec. even though we still had Disney tix left!

Thanks everyone! Sounds like it is what I'm expecting... we know it's not "luxury" as this trip is purely for the kids. After that we're going to St. Pete and staying at a five-star, so we'll get our fancy-fix there. :)

The places like the food court (& Subway) are the prices about the same as other subways or higher? I've read some reviews where it says there are a lot of "extras" that you have to pay for... do you have to pay for shows and entertainment? I assume you have to pay for the kid-spa and things like the fancy cabanas.... anyone have any ideas on price lists for the "extra" stuff as well as the character breakfast??
