Nick Hotel's Character breakfast

I booked this for our upcoming stay. It is very pricey, I was a little hesitant. Is the character breakfast a fun thing to do?
I thought I read a review saying that the staff puts on a show, is that true?

We ate there last trip and it was ok. I thought the price was great for a char. meal in Orlando and our 10yo and 12 yo were still kids prices there! We had an ok time and Patrick was a scream!

We liked the character breakfast and found it to be worth the money. The food was what you'd expect for about 6 or 7 bucks a head in a buffet, but then again how many times will your kid(s) get to eat eggs and see Mr. square pants himself?
