Coming back from the port after our Disney Cruise I'd like to book the Nick Hotel for a suprise for my DS (6). We'll arrive sometime before Noon, but leave the next morning by 8 a.m.

Is it worth it for a day at the pools? Other option is back to Disney and stay on site there.... your thoughts? :confused3

Consider the price of 1 night at Nick Hotel, like $150. If you are willing to do it for your kid, go ahead!

I think so. If you can afford it, you should do it. Consider the cost to include hotel and water park admission. The pool is so much fun. When we stay there we do not plan on going anyplace else, we stay there and enjoy the resort.

There is usually a show in the evenings. Ask about tickets when you check in. They don't cost anything, but you need to get your ticket early in the day to get a seat.

You can change (restrooms by pool) and use the pool before your room is ready.

YES! Of course, your son will want to stay longer! Check the schedule when you arrive for game times at the pools. Also try to participate in the slime show at night. to sign up be at the lagoon pool between 3-4 pm. look for nick game staff in green shirts. Need 4 people on team and the team captain will either get slimed or pie in the face!
Very fun place!!

Also, go to the slime show at night even if you dont get to be a team. The audience participates.

Thanks Jama & all for the advice! I have decided to stay there for our final night of our 12 night trip. I'm sure I'll just be wetting DS's appetite, but if he LOVES it, then we can split our next Disney trip with a stay there too!

Your child will LOVE it there! There is so much to do there, you wouldn't have to go anywhere else!
