Nick Hotel Shows

We'll be staying at the Nick hotel. It says they have pool side shows hourly and a nightly show. Do I need to purchase tickets for the evening show or is it first come first serve. Does anyone have any tricks to get picked out from the audience. I have four children and would love to see one of them involved. Tell me about your experience.

Stayed there in May. For the evening show, you need a ticket, but there is no charge. Just so they can keep up with how many folks will be there. The room is fairly small, will maybe only hold 100 people or so. They did several different things where they picked kids from the audience and DD got chosen once.

Pool-side games go on at different times throughout the day. Lots of audience participation. One day, it was really un-crowded and there were only about 6 kids in the entire Oasis pool so they got to play ALL the games!! DD loved it. I'm sure you'll have a great time. We'll be going back next year!

Could they be picked up in advance or just when entering the show?

The tickets can be picked up in advance. You go down to the desk in the mall area and pick which show you want to go to and they give you a carnival type ticket and write how many people on it. You can go anytime during the day that you want to attend. When we were there it was very crowded so if you have time constraints, earlier ticket pick up is better.

Depending on what the evening show is, sometimes the families are picked ahead of time.

When they play the pool games, they can win little prizes like coupon for a free ice cream, or a few arcade tokens, free face painting coupon, etc. When we were there in June, the pool/pool games were extremely crowded and everyone wanted to participate.

The pool games are played at both pools, and the times are alternated. We found the games to be much less crowded at the smaller (think it is called oasis) pool.
