Nick hotel at Halloween?

We are thinking about staying at The Nick hotel a few days before Halloween. We would be there maybe the Sunday and Monday before Halloween. Do they do anything special?
Also, how warm is it in late October. I'm wondering about the waterpark section and if it would be too cold to use it.

don't know - a couple of years ago I think they did - but haven't heard anything about this Halloween - maybe no one who was there posts on the Dis?

we stayed last October and they a "Nick or Treat". It was pretty cute, they had basic costumes kids could borrow or the kids could wear their own, and then they had 4 or 5 different charcters at different stations giving out candy. It was nice because it was free, and you knew there would be charcters there. The way things are going with that hotel though, it wouldn't surprise me if they started charging for that too!! The kids did get a kick out of it though, the only thing was we didn't plan it properly and had also gotten tickets for MNSSHP for that night, so the kids were bouncing off the wall. I think I just threw the last of the candy out that I had stashed away.

Nick or Treat sounds like something the kids would enjoy. Is that only on Halloween. We plan to saty there a few days before Halloween.

we were there last year on the 21st and 22nd(I think and they had it one of those nights. It's throughout the month.
