Has to be my favorite "sitcom goes to Disney" episode ever! We quote it way too often on our trips.

Okay...question...DH says this was filmed in Disneyland. I say it was WDW. Yes, I know Dan was at EPCOT, but he is the only one they show there. Basically, he thinks the Magic Kingdom footage was filmed at Disneyland. The two castles look NOTHING alike and that one was definitely Cinderella Castle! What do you think? Settle our bet, please!!!

Definately WDW! I love this episode - seen it alot, but always watch it when its on. By the way - anyone know which hotel they are in?

I think the hotel is just a set and they just used a still for the exterior. Most shows will film at their own studios as much as they can, and since a hotel room doesn't really have to be WDW specific, I'd imagine it's just a set.

Out off all sitcoms that went on vacation to Walt Disney World, that had to be worst one of them all. I maybe crazy for knowing this but I remember that they were staying at that huge Hyatt on Lake Buena Vista, which was outside of Walt Disney World property. Well if you remember the day they went to the Magic Kingdom, Roseanne said the park opens in 15 minutes & when they got there they were at the front of the rope waitng for it to open. I know because of the show they had to stand right at the front, but any family who stays off site & it does not matter if it's on 192, Lake Buena Vista & International Drive, there is no way you can leave with 15 minutes before the Magic Kingdom officially opens & be at the front. In my opinion that gives false information about getting to the Magic Kingdom in generall, but it's what I think & it's my opinion

There were other parts I did not like, but the part I already mentioned is what I did not like the most.

Obviously because Roeseanne was an ABC show, they make it so that they are at the front of the rope when the Magic Kingdom opens. At least I know I am not the only one who noticed how in acuurate it is to get from an off site hotel, to the front of the Magic Kingdom for the opening in 15 minutes lol.

In other words, you're supposed to ignore the creative license the writers took in order to squeeze a Disney Vacation into 22 minutes of television and just enjoy it.

EVERY show filmed at Disney has taken similar creative license.

I watched it last night too... and loved it as usual. I wish more sitcoms today (whatevers left of them) would go to Disney World. It always makes for a good show!!!

The Full House Disney episodes weren't exactly "right on" either. I had to be VERY clear to my DD before going that they don't let kids rub a lamp and get chosen to be Princess for the Day!

And the Coral Reef was shown as a quiet, romantic spot...guess that wasn't taped during Free Dining because I find Denny's on a Saturday morning to be quieter than the Coral Reef!

Another thing that was wrong about the Full House episode is, when Snow White found Michelle she took her to have that Tea party with Mickey & all the other characters. Obviously if a child was lost today they would be brought right back to their parents. Although if WDW were to comment on that, they would say her parents were told where she was.
