Hi everyone,

I am looking for a place to stay that is nice and moderately priced close to universal and sea world both?

Actually I dont even know how close these two parks are to each other so if someone could enlighten me?

We are thinking of splitting our stay, part of the time at disney and the rest of the stay close to US & Seaworld, we will not have a car so we will have to rely on shuttles or taxis?

Thanks to everyone, these boards are great, they really helped me last vacation!!

Universal and Sea World are a few miles apart. It takes 15-20 minutes to get between both parks. You can stay on an onsite hotel and take the shuttle bus. The Royal Pacific Hotel (opening later this month) will have a shuttle to Sea World. I've seen rates there as low as $99 per night. Otherwise, try to stay along the route of the I-Ride trolley. The trolley runs all around I-Drive and Universal Blvd. You might want to consider staying at a hotel on its route.

The trolley runs to Sea World, but not directly to Universal. However, Universal is a few mile walk from a trolley stop. I would try the Clarion Universal that advertises on this site. There are plenty of other hotels to choose from too.

Check out the trolley at www.iridetrolley.com.

There are so many places in that area that are nice! If you can get RP at a good rate, I'd take that. But just in case you don't try the Hilton Graden Inn, Embassy suites JC or Embassy Suites Convention center. There is also the Radisson & the Clarion.
