Nice hotel near Downtown Disney?

Can anyone refer me to a nice hotel in the Downtown Disney area for a family of four? We just need a standard room with two double beds for one night.

Please let me know what you think of the hotels you've stayed at in this area.

if you are talking in walking distance of DD - then it is just the DD hotels

if you have your own transportation and just want to be close - the Sheraton Vistana is not far - there are several Best Western and Days Inn in the area

The Grosvenor or Hilton will be your 2 closest hotels to DTD. I stayed at the Grosvenor and loved it in January- no complaints in the slightest. The fireworks view from the rooms is wonderful, too.

Grovsners, is next to DDT and is running a special last time i looked, or try to get into the Wyndum Palace and spa on an internet deal.
Both are 5-10 min walking time to DDT.

If you have your own transportation, stay at the Marriott Village, basically across the road from Downtown Disney. There is the Springhill Suites, Courtyard and Fairfield. This is our 3rd or 4th stay at the Fairfield Inn. We are staying there in July for $55/nite, and a free breakfast. The pool is very enjoyable.
