"Nice Heels"

I had a guy once compliment my shoes in an airport. This is an emabarrassing story, he said he was a shoe designer and asked if he could take a picture of my shoe. I was in the airport in Paris, France so I think, OK that seems possible. Later when I told the story to some people they informed me about foot fetishes and this guy probably had one. I am now creeped out by shoe compliments.

There are people that can appreciate nice shoes that don't have so called "foot fetishes." I wouldn't worry about it. And I don't see how a compliment can be turned into "creepy" unless its done in a creepy way.

Weekend was great, thanks for asking, only bad part is, that its over and its now Monday. :goodvibes How's yours?

I had a pretty excitin' weekend, tornado 'n high winds came thru.

Listen, considerin' your heel fetish, you ever thought about gettin' this?:

:lmao: I like those, maybe if I had a tacky bar, the guy that does Pardon the Interruption on ESPN has one of those behind him on set, I think its PTI.

Honestly, if a man noticed my footwear, I'd probably assume he was gay and take the compliment! Definitely wouldn't think he was trying to pick me up. Pick up comments tend to be on things about 4 feet higher than my shoes. ;)

:rotfl2: So true.

The creepy part for me is my foot is out there in a photo and you know... hmm. I felt pretty stupid after the fact, I do have nice feet and shoes.

My husband appreciates a great pair of heels so I take it as a compliment!:thumbsup2

However I have this friend that has a foot fetish and well from him not so much.:lmao:

"she had on these rocking heels so I let her in"
Yeah, I think you were flirting with her and I'm pretty sure you hoped she might react to you in a positive way, like flirt back.
You flirt on this board all the time and can't avoid, for some reason, being a little inappropriate.

So, no, I don't think it was ok. If it was someone who was simply trying to be nice, it would be ok. But, you've shown us, said straight out, that you have this THING about heels and women. Thus, your intentions were not innocent. This is my opinion. You might want to secure your boundaries with strangers.

Me flirt? :flower3: When? And you say that like its a negative thing. Did you have a bad weekend SB?

So let me get this straight, guys compliment you gals on your chest? I never thought that would be a very subtle thing or classy thing to do to say the least. :confused3 What do they say? Nice rack?

It happens. Usually they're a bit more subtle, but one guy decided to rhyme it.

How do you distinguish between someone that appreciates a great pair of heels and someone with a "foot fetish"? :confused3

You don't, unless you know the person has a foot fetish.

I have said for years that a perfect compliment for a man to give is on a woman's shoes. We love them so much and it's not to have them noticed.

I don't mind a compliment, but it does tell me where you're looking (not at my face).

I have this shirt with stripes located in such a way that they accentuate my "curves". One older male co-worker would ask me if I'd lost weight every time I wore this shirt. I don't diet and I don't own a scale. I'd thank him and tell him this every time. At the same time, I couldn't help but think, "It's not my waist that looks smaller, dear, its that the things above it you're looking at appear larger."

Well, on the bright side he didn't mention her ****s at all. Give credit where credit is due. :thumbsup2:lmao:

Oh, and I'd take it as a compliment as well. I love shoes (except the pair I have on now. Pointy toed heels aren't agreeing with my toes today).

I'd be fine with it. Actually, I'd be thrilled because I love love love shoes andlove when people(men and women) notice them. I am also the type of women who does not think that everytime a man says something complimentary or even a little flirty that they are trying to get me in bed. :sad2: And you know what? Even if they are? I'm a grown woman who is married and I'm completely capable of letting someone know if they are out of line.

Hale no! I had a parfait weekend!!! Spent the whole weekend with my husband; we kept the focus on each other. Then, last night, we had several friends over for a cookout. Marvelous weekend. Thanks for asking.
I don't think flirting with strangers is a positive thing so yes, negative and morally suspect. That's just me. Your wife has her own opinion and it's her opinion that counts. Ask her.

I can easily list three threads where you have mentioned shoes in a lusty way. I'd say you qualify. Your woman bashing thread, the Isabella Rosselini thread and this one. And now, I rest my case because the most interesting man in the world is about to come home and I need to get cleaned up. :)
