Hi,

I'm looking for a quiet, romantic, restaurant to take DW to during our trip while grandma takes DS's to MK. Are there any good ones?

My DH and I are planning the same thing - Mom is going to watch our DS while we go to Jiko at the AKL.

Your best bets for quiet and romantic would probably be Artists Point, California Grill, Jiko. (You know, the expensive ones!:rotfl: )

Whatever you pick, I hope you and your DW have a great time. It is so nice to get away for quiet dinner when you have little ones.

Quiet may be hard to come by at WDW!! If it isn't kids, it could be conventioneers carrying on (as at the Blue Zoo a few trips back).
But I'd suggest Citrico's ,Bistro D" Paris, and maybe that new Il Mulino (which we haven't tried yet). Wolfgangs Upstairs was also relatively quiet.

I don't think we want Artist's Point because we're staying at Wilderness Lodge. I've never been to California Grill (its in the Contemporary, right?).

Simon,
Yes, it is in the CR. Artist Point is a quieter setting, however California Grill is still a romantic setting. DH and I love the CG. Nothing beats a holding hands and watching Wishes right from your table during dinner. The food is absolutely wonderful. Share a flatbread for an app, and I suggest the pork with polenta for an entree. CG is our favorite romantic restaurant:love: , I hope it becomes yours too!

I also suggest you have a drink at the Territory Lounge in WL. This is our favorite resort bar.

I believe the California Grill does have a quiet room to dine in (or quieter) but you might not be able to see the fireworks from there. It can also get a bit noisy. I would probably second the vote for Jiko, really interesting menu.

If you really want to splash out try Victoria and Alberts ;) I'm sure it will be quiet and very memorable :thumbsup2

My DH and I are going to CG for our "quiet night" out as my ILs are taking our DDs for the night. Thanks on the tips as we too have never been to CG. I have always wanted to go, but never wanted to spend the money to do so. However, my DH wanted to have a nice night somewhere one night and he said that we should go ahead and spoil ourselves...isn't that what vacation is for anyways?

Fulton's Crab House at DTD has great food! But, I don't think this restaurant participates with the DDP??? At least it didn't when we visited in December.
