Nice beach to stop at overnight on drive down?

We are driving down in late Nov/early Dec & are planning an overnight stop somewhere along the way. Are there any towns in GA along I95 that are a good stopping point & not too far off the beaten path? I am also considering just stopping in Jacksonville for an afternoon/night to recover from the drive before starting our Disney vacation, but not sure we'll make it that far with the two little ones. Thanks!

Savannah exits, especially #104, have lots of options. Easy on/off, leaves you just under 300 miles to WDW exits.

Exits from I95 Georgia and north Fla could take as much as 45 minutes to the beaches due to traffic and such. Fernandina beach is just across the Fla border and is somewhat quieter.

Loved the Savannah area off I-95. We stayed in Springhill Suites a bit away from the beach. Also the St. Augustine area looked great too we may be stopping there this year.

Jekyll Island in Ga. I believe it would be the Brunswick exits.
