We are staying offsite for 10 days and want to take the weekend off the parks (to avoid crowds)
We're thinking we might go to a neighboring beach and have only been to the gulf side.
Can anyone recommend a good beach that is family-friendly with lots of clean sand? Last time we went to Treasure Island and it was a nightmare of broken seashells and gulls everywhere. I'd like the kids to be able to build sandcastles and play in the ocean with minimal crowds and no major attractions necessary.
Though, if someone can recommend a good dinner spot for beach-goers nearby that would be good. We'll probably pack a picnic lunch for the beach
