Niagara Falls..where to stay on Canadian side?

Going on an impromptu trip to Niagara Falls. Can anyone recommend any places to stay on the Canadian side??

We stayed at the Hilton on the Canadian side...it's fairly new, only open 2 years now, I believe.

We stayed at the Marriot Renaissance Fallsview once. We had a room with a spectacular view of the falls. A bit pricey, but it was a nice place to stay.

WE stay at Skyline Inn when we go Cheap, owned by Casino along with Sherton and THe Brock, Walking distance to all the good stuff.

We have stayed at the Hampton Inn a couple of times. Nice place and you are able to walk to the falls. You can't see the falls from the hotel, but you can walk to them without a problem.
