Niagara Falls, Canada DisMeet August, 2008

So on another thread I'd suggested a DisMeet in Niagara Falls, Canada. The consensus was the beginning of August works well for most people's schedules.

I thought I'd open this up to other posters as well! Who all would be interested in a fun weekend with other Disney Lovers at the ONE place that seems to tide ME over until my next trip to The World?

We love Niagara Falls!! Go every year. We just got back two weekends ago from our trip there. We love to take River road to niagara on the lake and then we always head up to the welland canal. (my DH loves that kind of thing). We've been to NF so many times we try to stay away from Clifton Hill, usuually only go there for an hour or so to do some shopping. I lovej to go to the vineyards and get ice wine.


Wish we could make it in August - but we have over extended ourselves this year with vacations. Have a wonderful time.

Aw Jul it's not THAT far from ya tho! I try to get there at least twice a year.. sometimes more.

I love the nature side but I admit.. I love clifton hill too.. I'm a tourist attraction junky though LOL!

Are you thinking Aug 1, 2, 3 (Civic holiday weekend) or Aug 7, 8, 9????

Also agree with the staying away from the touristy visited areas, such as Clifton Hill so much more that can be visited!!

well originally it was going to be the first wknd in august for others who I'm assuming don't want to go anymore since I'm the one planning this....


So really, it can be whenever! I just got back from my Utah business trip so I'm ready to put 100% into planning this trip if everyone's up for it!

What dates are good for everyone? Or should I say.. which dates AREN"T?

hey Cin, not that I am going to come up there for this, but do a poll like Jenroc did on the one for Oct 2009. Maybe that will help with the decisions??? Am sure it will be fun!
