NFL Playoffs Coming Up..

Who here is excited? I'm thrilled about how my Chargers have come from 4-8 to the brink of winning the AFC West! How about your team?

Yeah, I've been watching the Cowboys play lately, pretty topsy-turvy, huh? Good luck against the Eagles. My father is also a diehard Cowboys fan.

I'm a Panthers fan. It hurt to see the game get away this past Sunday night. But if you had told me last summer that they would have a playoff spot locked and be playing on the last weekend for a #2 seed I would take it no questions asked.

I like that my team is running the ball like crazy. Now we just need to get healthy and get focused.

Good luck to the Chargers; they would be interesting to watch in the playoffs.

It has definitely been a bit crazy watching! Not looking forawrd to sunday though--I live in Jersey-about 30 min from Philly and am SURROUNDED by eagles fans...so its been quite interesting around here since last weekend..hopefully the game is a good one!

After a 3-4 start the Colts have won 8 in a row and are in the playoffs. They have had some shakey wins, but a win is a win. Go Colts.

I literally felt sick Sunday night. I just can't believe we lost that game, I'm still upset! I honestly believe that we will beat the Giants in the NFC Championship game, with Maake healthy I don't think we will give up 300 yards on the ground. The play calling drives me crazy at times!

To answer the OP's original question, I am very excited for the playoffs. I'm also a little sad because it means the end of football season, and I really love football.

I liked Beason's quote about giving up the 300 yards. He gave a hat tip to the Giants backs and OL, then said that after watching the film it's obvious that "250 of that was on us". I appreciate the candor, and that tells me they'll get this DL problem worked out. Bad news there is that we lost another DT for the season --Gibson is on IR. There is now no doubt about how important Maake is to this team. Hope he gets well soon. I wouldn't be surprised if we started seeing some run blitzes and stunts to hold down opponents' running game.

I am a Broncos fan and it drives me bonkers that they could have wrapped up a playoff spot the last 2 weeks. I'm not giving up though. I know no one is going to pick them to win, but I have hope they'll pull it out when it counts!

I'm a Giants fan so obviously I'm hoping for a repeat. I think the AFC playoffs will end up being more interesting though -- the first round could feature games between one of the best offenses (Pats) going against one of the best defenses (Ravens) and the other game could feature the two hottest teams right now (Colts and Chargers). And the Steelers and Titans would be waiting in the next round for the winners.

i know! I was watching by myself and was yelling at the tv--in turn, waking up my family! I was not happy watching the end of that game--but they kept fighting !

The thing that makes me nervous is that they are playing in philly...and they usually split (each winning a game a season) so lets just hope that they step it up and we have a great game sunday!
