If you don't know yet, the NFL's Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) between the players and owners expires at the beginning of March. That means there could be NO NFL FOOTBALL NEXT YEAR!:scared1: I, like most people, want to see football next year and think the whole situations is ridiculous. I was just wondering what anyone else thought about this?

To be honest, I don't mind that it's being canceled. I've never liked American football. It seems very slow paced to me. Kind of boring to watch. There's a lot of stop, instant repeat, play, stop, instant repeat, play instead of just playing the game. To me it's basically rugby with more equipment. I'd much rather watch British/European football (soccer). :confused3
Plus, whenever the NFL is on TV it usually runs over the time it's supposed to be on and messes up all the other programming schedules. But then again, that's just me.

:scared1:THEY CAN'T DO THAT!!! I REFUSE TO LET THEM!:scared1:

I love football! and I won't let them not have SUPERBOWL 46 next year! If they do that I'll start a nation wide petition that they put it back on!

:cheer2:Go Chargers!

I bet the players will get their raise. The NFL makes too much money for them to close it like that. At least, I hope they think that. :)

You've GOT to be kidding?

...I'd miss my Jets waaaay too much <3 And if that happened... NC would lose our football team. Even if they stink, we don't have much else to fall back on. Except NASCAR... which we excell at. But that's not the point!

I doubt this will happen. Football is the most popular sport in America.

I'm with you on that.

IT'S SO STUPID.. The players are complaining and they are making millions of dollars... when normal people barely get any.. ya they need to get their head on straight.

The only hope we have is if the owners bring in replacement players and leave the others will get hung out to dry. So then we'll either be watching these random no names playing football or the normal players will cave and give into the owners.

Honestly I seriously doubt this this would ever happen football is way to popular for that to happen. But I honestly wouldn't mind I'm not much of a football person and don't really enjoy that's all their really is on Sunday , I'd much rather watch hockey instead :)

Im sure they will work everything out by then.. Atleast i hope they do.. What would our world be like without the NFL??? And they better work it out because i am looking forward to seeing Aaron Rodgers lead the Packers to another Superbowl title!!!

That's what they thought before the MLB went on strike.. but look what happened

I think it will happen only because its only 19 days until the CBA expires. That and both sides have procrastinated the negotiations ridiculously and canceled some future negotiation meetings. All in all, it looks pretty bleak right now.:sad1:
