NFL football at 10am

I've been on the west coast for over a year, and I still can't get used to watching the Patriots play at 10 in the morning. The Cardinals also come on at 10 this morning.

I've spent my entire life (a long time) on the east coast, most of it in New England, and I'm used to watching football at 1pm or 4pm. I mean, how can I enjoy hotdogs, nachos, and BBQ wings at 10 in the morning.

And, even if I didn't watch the game, I'd go out to lunch with friends or shopping.

Oh well, I just had breakfast and it's almost game time. Go Patriots! We're rooting for you all the way from the west coast!

Well, the Patriots lost headache but the Cardinals won woohoo. There are many happy people here in Arizona! Off to the Olive Garden for a post-game lunch.

DH and I were born and raised in California, but moved to the mid-west last year. We miss Sunday morning football. And, some of those evening games run too late for us here, so we either have to stay up past bedtime or see the highlights the next day on some games.

Oh, and our Chiefs lost again today.

We have the opposite problem - we are Charger fans from New Hampshire - so last week we had to take vacation days in order to stay up late enough to watch the Charger game - which goes on well after midnight here in New England.

My DH and DS are huge Pats fans and unless there is a west coast team involved it is not televised unless one has the sports packages which we don't. The boys head to a local sports bar in town and have breakfast w/their game!

And I can't stay up late enough to finish watching the game as it comes on too late and I have to get up too early in the AM on Tues.
