I'm hoping they are busy at the convention center during most of the day, but would expect them in the parks in the evening. I also wonder if if was the same weekend last year because last year sunday was a wonderful day in the parks, not too crowded, but Monday was a mad house! i'm wondering if many of them stayed over on Monday for a full day at DL!

Well...it's the 14-18 (Tues- Sat). I really hope its not horrible! I honestly dont think it will be any worse the week before or the week after. Plus, Im hoping that the weekdays in the summer are less crowded in general than the weekends.
At the same time last year, I found the Monday to be a madhouse and Sunday was pleasant. So, I'm not sure the weekends are busier theory holds up well in the middle of summer.

The NFFC conventions do run throughout the day, but some people might drop by the parks in the evening (though some will stay at the hotel for the popular "room hopping" activity). Usually the 17th (DL's birthday) is a day that conventioners will spend in the park to take in the birthday ceremony and participate in stuff like road rallies. In 2005, Disneyland hosted conventioners at an event in Disneyland, but everyone was congregated in the same area, as opposed to being dispersed throughout the park.
