Next years "theme"

I was wondering if anyone knows anything about what next year will be... like this year and last year is " Year of a Million Dreams".... i'm not sure if anyone would know if or what the new one will be or if there just gonna keep the same thing again???? Any info would be great! Thanx

I'm intrigued. Our last DL family reunion was in 2005 and since then we've had 3 more new additions. If it is a family reunion trip, then we might just have to plan another reunion.

First off...Albort, I'm surprised that you don't have this information. I found the info off one of the other threads. It is on Miceage.com. To quote the following information form the Miceage website: "The follow up for 2009 is going to be called "Magical Celebrations", and will be targeted around getting people to visit Disney Parks to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, family reunions, honeymoons, greaduations, etc., etc. Many of the same offerings rolled out for the YOMD will be repackaged and rebranded under the Magical Celebrations banner, although many of them will only be available for a purchase price of some sort instead of a sweepstakes prize. At least for Anaheim the Magical Celebrations schtick will be fairly short lived, as the 55th Anniversary in 2010 will have a bigger scope than the 40th or 45th celebrations had. It won't be the mammoth undertaking that the 50th was obviously, but it was the huge bump in spending and attendance from the 50th that has lasted right through to 2008 that is bolstering the budget for new entertainment and attractions in Anaheim specifically for 2010." Hopefully this will clear up the questions regarding the next installment of Disneylands latest promotions.

of course they have it figured out (I wouldn't be surprised if 2010 was done too) they have to have all the "stuff" made for the theme. What do they have with this years theme on it?

Whe I went to the Disney outlet here in WA I was surprised by the amount of 50th anniversary stuff that was there. I guess they made too much "stuff" that year.

magical celebrations sounds like a cool idea! I've been planning my august birthday already and the idea of having better things to do at disney for a birthday would be cool!

Thanx for the info everyone! I was hoping they were gonna do a celebration for the 55th b-day tooo so maybe when i'm done planning my 09 trip i'll have to start with 2010 ..... but i don't know how much i'm gonna like the 09 one... i guess we just gotta wait and see how it all works out...

I'm not surprised as I know some CMs that have worked there years and years and years and still are not aware of several things going on in the park.
