When we were at the Beach Club (December 15) and booked ours, I heard him tell the folks in front of us that he would be there till 10pm. We booked after having dinner at the Yacht Club about 7pm.
FYI, we were Ft. Wilderness Guests. We had eaten over at Pop Century and saw the message on our food receipt and saw the phone #s to call. There was also a message on our food receipt at Yacht Club Galley that mentioned the desk at the Beach Club, so we wandered over there and were able to book Pop Century right on the spot!!
My friend booked 1 room for her, her hubby, and a 3rd adult. I booked 1 room for me and my hubby. We wanted to book three rooms, but couldn't since only 2 adults were on our current reservation. So he actually suggested adding on the third adult to one of the rooms and then the third adult can book a room for sleeping at
AAA rate or passholder rate. This will actually be a savings over allowing us to book a third room at the bounce back program.
He also asked us how we liked booking face to face vs. over the phone, and we told him it was a great experience and told him how not all CRO agents are created equal. He told us he understood that and that only the most experienced agents were being sent over to host the desks.
I would LOVE to see something along these lines as a permanent thing at the resorts. Booking your next trip in person with an experienced CRO agent. There doesn't need to even be a special promotion going on.
However, if they ever get their website up to speed, this wouldn't be a problem.
How hard is to at booking to have fields to enter your passholder #, or your AAA #, or any other available codes and have all the rates for rooms show up!!!
Many budget chains do this, why not WDW!!!!
