Next-up for the iPhone...Virgin Mobile!

What phone service was the phone with? Sprint doesn't use sim cards nor has it ever sold the 3GS phone. They only offer the 4 and the 4s.

Dawn

My IPhone 3GS is from AT&T. Are you saying all VM phones have no sim card? I have a Blackberry on the Sprint Network and it most definitely has a sim card.

But...

...the reason you have a SIM card in your Sprint Blackberry is because the SIM card is intended to work only when the Blackberry is taken overseas (since CDMA, which is used by Sprint and Verizon in the U.S., is not a common cell phone format in many other countries around the world) -- otherwise, when you're at home in the U.S., it will work only on Sprint's CDMA network (and those of CDMA roaming partners).

As for VM, all non-Blackberry phones do not make use of a SIM card, whatsoever...

I bought the Virgin Mobile Iphone 4s and couldn't be happier... It will take some time to pay off, but worth it to me.

I purchased my AT&T iPhone 4 outright. NEVER a good idea to lease your phone or roll it into the contract. You pay WAY too much that way, but many Americans like to do that for some reason. Like to waste money.

Didn't you realize on another thread that you did this very thing.....you purchased a subsidized phone with a 2 year contract, just like we all did? Except of course the lucky ones who are now with Virgin Mobile! :thumbsup2
