Next trip is November 2015' who's going us?

1. It does take soooo long to go through the whole phone call! 2. My sister was thinking about coming down toward the end of our vacation then staying a couple of days longer than us. So I just checked the dates Nov 8- 13 and it shows on their website availability. Then shouldn't you be able to add your date then? Or maybe website is wrong.

I called them yet again and no such luck…I have a bounceback rate, so the availability is veryyyyy limited.

I guess I'm going to wait to see if I can get an AP rate, or stay in a mod or value the last night.

We are booked for 11/14 to 11/20!!!! It will be our first stay at Music.

I did my ADR's yesterday and got everything we wanted, including 2 BOG dinners :cheer2: I was worried b/c of everything I'd been reading, but I had tons of times to choose from for every restaurant. I even looked at places we weren't booking but that people said had been difficult to get, just to see what availability looked like, and nothing seemed unavailable except Raglan Rd. and H&V. That was at 6a.m. ; I went back on around 2:00 and changed a BOG time and still saw quite a few dinner times available for multiple nights 11/21-11/27. Then I added a Cali Grill around 5:00 last night and still saw BOG dinners, as well as some 1900 PF dinners which some have said they couldn't get.
Then around 9 last night, DH was playing around and said tons of places were available for Thanksgiving day. Idk if it has to do with FD ending the 19th or what, but it just didn't seem to be a problem. I will say we were pretty flexible with times. DS's are 13 and 9 (10 by Nov.) and are used to being up late, so dinners between 8-9 some nights were fine. However, I did see earlier times for BOG.
Just wanted to report what I found :) Good luck to everyone who still has to book!

Congrats to you!!!! It feels so much more real once they're booked and out of the way! I too was able to get all of our ADR's with no problems, including Thanksgiving. Got all the times we were looking for too. I definitely think not staying during FD makes it a lot easier. Enjoy the rest of your planning!!

I have a week trip planned in January, but I had been going back and forth over going in November during my birthday. So this weekend I bit the bullet and I'll be doing a very quick, one-day trip. I'll fly out Thursday the 5th, spend the 6th in EPCOT for my 30th birthday (and to experience F&W for the first time ever), and then fly home Saturday. Cause why not? I figure I'm not going to turn 30 again.

We booked Boardwalk for 11/19 - 11/26... and then changed to our favorite CSR... and then changed to BC when it became available with FD. Now CSR looks like it's fully booked so I guess there's no going back. I'm sure we'll love the BC, SAB, and being close to Epcot. We have all our ADRs at most of the places we wanted though some of the times are a little off like 4:30 BOG but it'll work. Regardless we're super excited. I don't see how I can wait that long and we a Black Hills and Grand Canyon vacation between now and then.

we are booked for November 28 to Dec 5th changed our resort to yacht club, 3rd change and I hope I stick with this!

We're at BWV 11/20-11/28 :) Will this be your first stay at an Epcot resort? If so you WILL love it!! This will be our 4th stay at Boardwalk and you can't beat walking to Epcot (and walking/boating to HS). We end up finishing most days at one or the other when we're staying at BW, even if we only go into Epcot for an hour or two to eat, drink or walk around :thumbsup2 Never stayed at BC but we've eaten at Beaches & Cream and spent some time checking out SAB - looks so cool!

Will this be your first stay at an Epcot resort?
I've been to Coronado Springs a couple of times for work (conference) and we also stayed there the last time we went and the kids loved it. We've also stayed at Animal Kingdom Lodge and The Contemporary but this is our first stay in the boardwalk area. I'm really looking forward to walking to Epcot as well. Any suggestions on how to not gain ten pounds while we're there?

LOL well, just walking to and from Epcot and HS might help keep some pounds off! It's hard not to get something from the bakery when returning from the parks at night, though :rolleyes1 Especially if the entertainers are still out and the kids want to hang around and watch them. Whenever we end the night at Epcot, we walk slowly around WS after Illuminations. Everyone else is headed toward the busses in FW: it's nice to watch WS empty out, see everything being closed down, and all the while know you have a 5 minute walk back to your room :thumbsup2 Works off some dinner, too! Walking back from HS takes longer but not too long IMO, as long as it isn't too hot which it shouldn't be in Nov.

We stayed at CSR last Aug. and really enjoyed it! We would stay there again in a heartbeat. But when DH and I are alone or when we know the crowds will be higher, the convenience of walking to those 2 parks wins out :goodvibes I want to try WL and the Poly but I think DH would be happy if we never stayed anywhere else but BWV!

Guess its time to make my ADR's. I tried to make reservations about 2 weeks about and was not successful so I decided to wait. After reading all these posts, sounds like things have loosened up a bit and maybe I'll get lucky! Love reading everybody's plans!!!

So we are all back, how was your trip?

Great idea! We went nov 6-11 for food & wine and had a great time! This was our first F&W and first time staying at BW. We actually didn't care for BW, didn't hate it just like other resorts better, but we still had a great time and since staying there we also went to Jellyrolls which we enjoyed also. How was your trip?

So we are all back, how was your trip?

Wonderful! We really had a great time at BWI! Everything worked out so well. All the CM's were fantastic, and all our dining reservations were on time. Parks were not too crowded and weather was on the warm side but we were prepared with all the advice from the boards. Of course we can't wait to go back but looking into a January 2017 trip to celebrate my daughter's 16th Bday.:flower1:

Did you have a good trip?

We had a great trip from 10/30 to 11/8! There were 9 of us total. We had 3 rooms at POP. The resort was nice but the buses always seemed crazy although we never really waited long - just always packed in. My family went to Mickey's BBQ and had a wonderful time. We also went to MNSSHP while the rest of the ground went to the BBQ on Halloween (both BBQ ADR"s were made last minute about 2 weeks in advance - if we would've known how much fun I would've booked all 9 together on a night right from the start!) Fastpasses all worked great - we had one instant though where I messed up my dad's and we all went to get into Figment and he was the last of our group - and he didn't have a fastpass - somehow I missed switching his. Luckily the CM's let him through with us :)
Dad caused all kinds of problems (lol). Our first ride on 7DMT we all were paired up and he was single andmatched with someone else. When they led us to get on somehow they held my dad back. We were all saying what happened to dad? When the CM's realized he didn't get on with us they yelled "re-ride" and as soon as we got off, then dad from his train, we were all led immediately back on to ride as a group! (unfortunately DS5 wouldn't go back on so DH took him out so no big group photo or video like we wanted but that's okay - the back to back riding was fun!)
The rest of our dining included - Mama Melrose Fantasmic package (only one I was frustrated with - I understand groups of 9 can take a while but our ADR was for 230, we didn't get seated until about 3:10 and then service was slow and we didn't get out of there until 5:00!!) We barely made it to our Star Tours fastpass (I thought a 4-5 fastpass after a 2:30 dinner would give plenty of time but boy was I wrong!)
The rest of dining went good - breakfast at Chef Mickey's - first time there and loved it! Ordered custom cake for dad's b-day and it was delicious!
Breakfast at BOG - I really enjoyed what I had, unfortunately got out at 8:50 and no 7DMT advance as the crowds were already in but no big deal
Kids did Pirate's League which was a blast (although 3:00 appts were backed up and took us quite awhile but again, that was expected). Did Pirates and Pals Cruise that night and as always loved it!
BOG dinner - amazing, my favorite!
Girls did BBB and looked amazing then dinner at CRT - I always enjoy this but they sat us strange - at 2 four tops for a part of 9 so 3 had to share the booth side which made it crowded. My niece was disappointed because no Princess Aurora that night but my DD was happy to have Mulan since we missed her at EPCOT.
Tusker House breakfast was good as always.
We did Minnie's Holiday Dinner and really enjoyed that one as well. My kids were happy to finally meet Stitch at O'Hana's and I thought breakfast was nice there.
Another first for us was Paradiso 37 which we enjoyed.
We also bowled twice at Splitsville - 1 morning and 1 Friday night. Fun times as always.
I couldn't get over the crowds though - seemed worse than July that we're used to. EPCOT was insane in World Showcase for Food and Wine so we didn't stay there long and DIsney Springs was wall to wall people!
All and all a wonderful trip - glad I got to go back with my parents again! Already trying to plan the next!

We had a fun and interesting time. So we were there from the 19th to the 28th. We always said we would only go back for 10 days or more the next time, and we sure did. I knew it would be different this trip because the girls are older and like different stuff. Was originally booked at the POR in a princess room but when I found out on the boards about free dining, I extended the trip and had to roll us to the POP. The first 4 days in the parks was amazing. It was not too crowded, wait times were decent. We rode quiet a bit in those days.pixiedust: Then Monday rolled around and we headed to the MK. I wanted to cry. After over an hour just to get my bag checked and get in the gates I knew that the tide had turned on this vacation. We did our fast passes that day and was out of that park. Wow! I knew the crowds were going to be big but I had no idea just how much. Even talking to some Cast Members, they gave the impression that it was very, very full.

Because the kids were older this year we did more stuff that we have not gotten to do in the past. We resort hopped and looked at Christmas stuff. We took in all the shows at the parks. When the girls were little they didn't care about the World Showcase, but this time we enjoyed if for what it is. We got candy in Japan, Beer in Germany, Macaroons in Paris, Tea in England. It was great! We had free dining so we ate until our bellies burst. But it took us the whole ten days of planning and praying to get in what we wanted to do. Once you used up your fast passes for the day, there was no getting another one because they were all gone.

We ate at BOG for lunch and Thanksgiving dinner was OOP at O'Hana's. I was very worried about O'Hana's after reading reviews on the boards, but our dinner was awesome. Very attentive cousin and lots and lots and lots of food.

Oh, the cinnamon rolls at Gaston's and the brew! YUMMY!
One daughter got a 24 hour stomach bug and one had severe heart burn one day, so that was fun. We walked over 70 miles!:dogdance:

This trip wasn't "magical" like when they were little, but it was really fun. It was more "grown up" and that was just fine.

I would definitely do ten days again or longer.

I had a fun quick trip from 11/5-11/9. :) Unfortunately, I ended up going alone. Our dog has been having a lot of health issues this year, and SO had to stay home with him. I was going for the W&D Half Marathon, so I kinda still had to go. My parents were meeting us there for a couple days, though, so I wasn't alone the whole time.

I arrived on Thursday and met up with my parents at my hotel (POFQ) and took the riverboat over to DS. They were staying at Allstar Sports. We walked around DS for a while and had some dinner at Earl of Sandwich, then headed back to our hotels. I did a shakeout run around the running path at POFQ and POR, then turned in for an early night.

Friday, I hit the race expo in the morning while my parents headed to MK, then I met up with them a little after noon. We did some more MK things, then headed to a very early 3:30 dinner reservation at Tony's Town Square. After that we did some more walking around and rides, caught the parade and the castle show that I've forgotten the name of, the one where they project all the characters and stuff on the castle. That was new since we had gone in Dec 2014 and I really liked it! Then fireworks, and back to the hotels.

Saturday we hit Epcot in the morning and headed out around noon for a late lunch at Rainforest in DS, then back to our hotels to rest/nap before getting ready for the race that night. I ate some breakfast for dinner (oatmeal, bagel, pb) and caught the bus over to WWoS. My parents met me over there and were going to watch the start of the race then head back over to Epcot, but the whole race situation was a huge mess. Bad storms were coming in, the winds were kicking up, so they just headed over to Epcot right away because they didn't want to wait outside if it was going to rain. The race start was delayed by an hour (it was supposed to start at 10pm) due to the storms, and everyone had to evacuate into buildings in WWoS. Mass confusion. The race did get started at 11pm, but due to logistics and wanting to get everyone to the afterparty in Epcot, the race course was cut from 13.1 miles to 6.72. We had to skip running through AK and went directly from WWoS to Studios and then through Epcot. I stayed at the after party until about 3:30am, then stumbled out to the buses back to the resort and crashed until about 8.

Sunday my parents came over to POFQ after they checked out of their hotel, parked there, and then we took the riverboats back to DS for another lunch at Earl of Sandwich. My dad and I both love it there. :) After we took the riverboats back to POFQ, they headed out to drive back home and I relaxed at the resort for a little bit before heading back out to the first night of MVMCP by myself. I didn't think I was going to stay that late, but I ended up staying until 11:45pm! Saw all the parades and shows and rode the rides that I didn't get to on Friday, with the exception of the Seven Dwarves Mine Train. :( The line was really long when I got there at 4pm because the park was still open to regular guests, so I was waiting until after 7 when it would just be MVMCP people, but then the train broke down and was broken down still every time I went back to check.

Monday I spent the day by myself in AK, headed back to POFQ around 3:30, in time to eat some dinner in the food court before catching the 5:30pm DME back to the airport for my 8:30pm flight home.

I was a little bummed I didn't get to see the Osborne Lights in full show mode, as I did not make it to Studios at all, although we did get to run through them at the race (no music or anything, just they were all lit like they are between the shows). They started on Friday, and we already had plans to be in MK that night (my parents didn't get park hoppers), then Saturday we were at the race, and Sunday I was at MVMCP. I didn't get to see Illuminations, either, but I've seen that enough that I didn't mind that too much. :) I've only seen the Osborne Lights once (12/2014 trip).
