Ok, my DW finally convinced me to buy-in, after spending last week offsite in a older, not quite clean home with pool (with no heat, even though we paid extra for it). :guilty:

We've decided we want BCV, so what is our next step? Do we go ahead and purchase via the Timeshare Store now? or wait until next spring, since we our next trip will be in October ????

Also, if we buy 2 contracts should they both be the same use year or doesn't it matter ??

Thanks!

I would buy directly from Disney and get 175-200 points. You may payless for after market points, but you are not getting the full life of the membership.

You can also buy over the phone. Disney will fedex all the paperwork to you.

Unless you plan to go down more than more than once a year and during Christmas(or travel to locations in the concierge package) , it is not worth getting more points.

One word of advice, if you use their financing package to buy, be sure to refinance with a home equity loan or a second mortgage. Disney's interest rate is WAY-WAY-WAY too high.

if you want BCV then go ahead and buy now from TImeshare store.

DVC right now is having a pretty good sale on SSR. If you get a recommendation from a current owner instead of $98 you will pay $83.30.

this is only for SSR!!!

BCV expires in Jan, 2042

SSR expires in Jan, 2054
