Next spring - Marvel characters?

My BFF and I are planning to head to DLR next spring - we are thinking mid-late March to avoid the summer/SW crowds and hopefully not hit every single Spring Break. Our main goal is to get a "Marvel character fix". I know last summer there were a bunch of Marvel characters out and about - we are hoping with the next Avengers on the horizon, we will see a bunch in March as well. I don't recall a lot of Marvel characters when we went in January, but perhaps I didn't know where to look.

My question is - summer always seems to be the focus for things - especially next year for SW - will there be much happening in spring? Specifically, we want to see Loki and Thor - the others are a bonus. I don't recall seeing a lot happening this last spring, just seeing ads that an epic summer was coming. Additionally - does anyone have recommendations for mid-March vs. end of March to try and avoid the majority of Spring Break groups? We are planning to do a long weekend, like a Thursday-Monday.

Marvel characters are always in Hollywoodland and Spider-Man and Captain America are the standards that should be there. The rest fluctuate. Thor and Loki aren't guaranteed. They are not on the app for appearing today.

March in general is bad for the entirety due to Spring Break.
