I will be at Disney World!! Whoo-hoo!! I am so ready for this vacation!
The school is giving me greif about taking the girls out for 5 days, (actually only 4 as 2 days next week are 1/2 days) but I have made the decision and I am taking them with for the week! I have already requested their school work for the next week be sent home on friday (then we will have a marathon home work session before we leave on sunday).

Same here, yay for going to Disney next week! I am in dire need of this trip as the last few months here have been pretty bad so I could use the pick me up of being in the happiest place on earth to make it all better again. I hope you have a magical vacation as well & who knows maybe i'll see ya there.

OK - Don't flame me please I too am getting grief from on of my son's teachers, we had the prearranged form for them to sign yesterday, and one of his teachers put a ? by her signature. Then my son proceeded to tell me she had a few comments for him as well, "what, vacation already??????" etc., etc. So needless to say, I emailed her this morning and told her to address any concerns she had regarding him being absent with me. I know this is a hot topic on the board, but we will not rearrange our vacation schedule for one teacher. All of the other's were ok with it and told us they would get his work to him this week. All I can say to the OP is don't let it ruin your time at Disney!
