next holiday wknd - Memorial Day - any plans yet?

This was a good Patriot's Day wknd/ DS spring vaca wknd
Kept busy with RW Zoo, Davis Farmland, Easter brunch, Chuckees, Holes movie, Purgatory, etc

Does anyone have any plans yet for Memorial Day wknd? Not sure what's up yet but being the planner that I am it wont be long till I start getting ideas.

Well... every year, DH and a group of guys go golfing for the weekend (this year happens to fall over Memorial Day weekend) and the wives go to the NJ shore every year for the weekend before Memorial Day. I can't wait.... I NEED A VACATION!!!!

We might head to the Cape for Memorial Day weekend but we're not sure yet.

We're leaving on the Disney Magic the Saturday of Memorial Day Weekend and will be on the 7-day Western Caribbean cruise!

I'm taking my Girl Scout troop camping that weekend. It should be a lot of fun.

We are currently planning to spend atleast a day at Towncrier's meet.

Dh, son, daughter, daughter inlaw, son inlaw, grandkids and I going to Kentucky to spend the holiday with my Mom. First time in awhile we will have all been together with her. Looking forward to a great time.

Geez, I need a better calendar. When IS Memorial Day? next weekend?

Oh my - guess I'd better plan SOMETHING! Hubby will be working out of town, and I'll go nuts home alone for 3 days...

As believe mentioned, we are hosting our 3rd annual Memorial Day DISmeet picnic. We start off the festivities at Cedar Point on Friday evening. We spend all day Saturday at CP. Sunday at noon we have a cookout at our home which will last until the wee hours of the evening. At the cookout we will premiere Barry Hom's latest DIScon 2002 video. On Monday morning, we have breakfast at our house. Some brave souls may be heading over to Six Flags in Aurora after breakfast.

And DW Sue is servicing two wedding on Saturday. It's going to be a busy weekend at our house.

I'll be meeting up with friends during that weekend, but don't know exactly what my plans are just yet. older dd is invited to a bar mitzvah Saturday and another bar mitzvah Monday. younger dd doesn't have any plans, but will probably wind up at a friend's house to swim and bbq.

Easter did me in on that one.

My birthday is on the 24th.... So I get to do what ever I want that weekend. Now I just have to decide what I want to do.

We'll be at the NJ shore that weekend, attending a formal anniversary party for my niece and her husband

Our anniversary is on Friday so I imagine that we will try to get DS a sitter and do something that weekend for just me and DH. Other than that we don't have any plans.

My birthday is on the 24th so we will all start off with cake and ice cream, Yum!

DH and I are looking at going to Towncrier’s for our first social with Disers, may even make the Cedar Point part if we will be able to find anyone there. Hoping for good weather that weekend.
