Next disney marathon after Jan 2008?

I kind of missed the boat on the upcoming marathon in January 2008 so when will be the next one because I want to jump on the bandwagon and realize that this would a great dream for me to do. I would like to walk the half marathon sometime in the future and need info. Is this marathon held only once a year??

WHIle the marathon and half marathon are only once a year right now, they are rtalking about replacing Minnie Marathon weekend with a princess event that has a half amrahton. This is likely going to be in May, but nothing has been set yet. SO, maybe you coudl prepare for that.

Plus, there wil be a ToT 6.5 adn a 13K Oct 27, maybe you coudl join us for that?

Please pop into our weekly traning threads and tell us more about yourself. MANY of started with doing teh full or the half as a pipe dream and have achieved it and gone beyond. We'd love to share this journey with you.

BTW, I just read on teh training thread that if you book through anthony travel, you can still get a half marathon spot.

The Minnie Marathon was the May 5 & 6th weekend. However, the chatter is that 07 was the last year for the Minnie and they will be replacing it was a princess thing I don't think there has been any official word on it as yet.

As Kim said, the Minnie/Princess dates have not been set yet. Stick around and you will find out the instant they are, though!

As to posting here while at work, I don't know anyone around here who would do that.

lustergirl, as has already been mentioned, you might still be able to join in for the next event in '08 if you book through Anthony Travel.

You should also know that you will have plenty of time to train for the half if you book now and begin your training.
