Newsletters!!!

Hi, everyone! I've read many PJs recently (obsessed much?) and have seen a few brides who have sent out newsletters to their guests with their save the dates.

I am wondering what kind of information should be included in a newsletter like this. Can anyone share their newsletter? Any info on this would be really appreciated. Thanks!

I didn't do newsletters for my guests, but I DID do them for the members of my wedding party. Every 6 weeks or so, I'd send the groomsmen information with reminders on where the tuxedo rental was going to be, how much it would cost, the absolute latest date they could rent ... along with general wedding info, such as rehearsal time, rehearsal dinner place, etc.

For the bridesmaids, they got info on where the bridesmaid gowns were to be purchased, what accessories they would need in what colors, the latest date to purchase, etc. Along with that were the times for hair appointments and other special spa treatments were available with cost info if they should decide to do so.

My bridesmaids loved it and when they got married, they did the same for their wedding party. They said they were informed and up to date on everything ... and loved getting the reminders because it helped build their excitement for participating.

I know this isn't exactly the question you asked, but hope it helped anyway.

We have done 2 newsletters so far. One was sent with our save the dates and the other was sent out by itself. I probably will send another one out about 6 months from our event and then another one in the welcome packet when they get there. If there is any last minute info right before hand, maybe a quick one there too.
