When you are a member, do you get any kind of regular communications from DVC or your individual resort to keep you posted on what is going on, events, special offers, etc?

Thanks again! I feel like I am becoming a veteran, before I am even a member!

DVC sends out a quarterly newsletter. This tends to have general information and isn't really timely enough to give information on events at the resorts. They also e-mail a Member Clubhouse once a month (theoretically). They are still working the bugs out of the Clubhouse -- ran into problems with government protections against spam that delayed recent issues -- but this may be a more timely source of information. They are also moving toward using the e-mail and their member website to provide more current sources of information on perks, etc.

As long as those are combined with divining information from right here -- you stay pretty current on what's happening.
