It's now going until mid-August. If you're visiting NYC this summer, you may want to pick up your tickets!

I just saw the show this past Sunday and it was wonderful. You can tell that the actors and dancers in the show are really excited about what they are doing which makes their energy and enthusiam infectious. If any of you are interest in seeing the show you should check out video that was posted today on the Newsies facebook page.

I have tickets for June 25th! It's my first trip ever to NYC and I'm going just to see Newsies!
I'm a little excited!!!!!!

I saw Newies in its run at the Paper Mill Play House. On certain nights they have a discussion about the show before the performance. The night I went the man doing the discussion hinted at a Broadway run. Two weeks ago I was back at the PMPH for their run of Damn Yankees and had the same man for the pre show discussion. After he was done speaking about the show he mentioned that Newies run on Broadway chose to do a limited time engagement so they would have a sell out and would most likely keep extending the run all long as people keep going to see it. So in that case people GO SEE IT!!!! It was Amazing and a must see for any Disney Fan!!!!

Our tickets are for Wednesday night… can’t wait. We have press seats, so I don’t know where we’re sitting, but I have so many fond memories of sitting in the Nederlander (literally hundreds of times), that it should be great.

I have a feeling it's going to become an open run. I read it had an advance sale of $8 million (which is great) and it's looking like a frontrunner for the Tonys now. :thumbsup2

It's so funny. I saw Newsies in the movie theater twice back when it first opened. Both times we were the only people there. Last week I was at the box office getting tickets, it was super-crowded, and the guy in front of me was paying $400 (each!!) for premium tickets.

I'm seeing it April 30, and I'm ridiculously excited. :cool1:

I really hope it gets an open run so I can see it again.
