Disneyland Paris held their shareholders meeting today and confirmed a lot of changes will be coming. Not a whole lot of details on the changes but he nautilus will go under for refurb and space mountain will get a refurb as well. Talking Mickey will be there by 2017. Kristoff and Olaf will be there with new frozen offerings coming in May.

Hopefully once it's down and they are put in a place to redo the hub of DHS that some sort of announcement of park enhancements will come. I know that's wishful thinking but they have to put some planters or something in all that empty space.

1. There is some construction going on in areas that universal owns. A large plot of land between cabana bay and portofino bay is seeing a lot of dirt moving.
3. Haven't heard anything about this interested to see what comes out of that.
4. The frozen project is supposed to still happen yet some disney execs are now starting to question how popular Frozen will still be in 2016 when the ride will supposedly open. They are looking at a closure in January with a 15-18 month rebuild. The track will stay the same. The Norway movie will go away and that will help with a new reworked queue for the attraction.

The construction between Cabana Bay and Portofino Bay is going to be another resort hotel. The walkway they are currently building passes right by the construction sight as you walk from Cabana Bay towards Portofino and Royal Pacific. The path will ultimately connect with the path that goes from the other resorts to the city walk. I could be wrong and please don't BURN me but I think Universal is really stealing customers from Disney. We have stayed at the Royal Pacific and just recently did a split stay at Cabana Bay and hard rock. We have stayed at WDW many times before and now the wife is thinking, because the prices are insanely better, we should stay at universal from now on and drive to WDW. Gotta say, with all the cuts Disney is making I kind of agree. Every time you turn around Disney is taking away some perk so they don't have to pay a Cast Member.

You really went back far to find that one. Yes I know they own the plot and it's becoming a new resort. Universal has plans and land to build two more after this one is finished. Universal has pubically announced that next hotel. What perks have been taken away lately? The only thing Disney has done has jacked up prices which many companies do.

Permits expire in November I believe. The bulk of the project which we are seeing now should be done by then but the whole thing won't likely be completed until November.

Photo update of the marketplace causeway. It looks to be pretty much completed so it should be open anyday now.
