Just a FWIW ... I was blocked from reading this article by an "invitation" to get a paid subscription. I accidentally reloaded the page then hit the <ESC> key to stop it, and it displayed the article with no popup.

Not that there's much to the story ... just a bunch of people unloading on Disney to complain about a problem that has nothing to do with WDW, that's not in any way the fault of WDW and which has no effect on them. But of course it's a lot easier to stand up and complain about a really big, highly visible entity than it is to complain about the many, diverse persons and companies who presumably are at fault for ruining the non-Disney springs through careless development and bad farming practices. Or the politicians and bureaucrats who were supposed to guard the water supply in the long-term interest of the public but apparently did nothing.

If they keep harping on Disney over their simulated Florida springs theming, they're gonna wish they had come up with another name/theme ... like "Hyperbolic Quay" or something ...

They have 100% mishandled/neglected the monorail system in Florida...
I'm not gonna spend $29.95 on anything that gives them profit off it.

Maybe the funds from t-shirt sales are earmarked (no pun intended) for monorail maintenance/upgrades! ;)

I know that was tongue in cheek.....but......

Certainly could be a good marketing angle, that could generate some actionable information.

"like the norway pavillion just as it is?, and don't want it frozen, just buy this t-shirt, and the revenue will be allocated to the upkeep".

"Want to Frozenify Norway for your little princess, buy this T of Elsa taking an axe to the maelstrom, to let your wishes be know!"

"Want a monsters inc coaster, buy this Sully hanging from a door limited time magic shirt, and will use the revenue to fund a feasibility study!"

The possibilities are endless....and ultimately don't even have to push the money around, just say you are.

Simply saying the purchase will influence opinion is good for selling a few more retail items.

In Orlando News today, a large fight at Disney World required a dozen local police forces, after a group wearing "Elsa Axe's Maelstrom" T-shirts ran across a group in "Save Maelstrom" T-shirts. Words were exchanged and then a fight broke out. Purses, strollers, and Mickey bars were flying everywhere. 23 people were arrested and 2 taken to the first aid station.
